Based on a recent visit to the McDonald’s in Calvert, Alabama, I must say that it was an interesting experience. When we stopped by, the first thing that caught our attention was the minimal presence of staff members. It seemed like everything was automated, right down to the kiosk in the lobby. Uniquely bad burger last night, reminiscent of a hokey puck in flavor and texture. The fries were somehow half soggy and half crispy but I think an entire shift's worth of salt on them ... And I like a lot of salt. This location is at least consistently bad so it's not too disappointing anymore. They did put napkins and ketchup in the bag and the toppings were correct, so for that I will give an extra star, there is also a spot to park a truck and trailer in the back.

I stop at the McDonald's in Mt Vernon often on my way home due to convenience. The food is always good, but the drinks...AWFUL!!! Most of the time I eat my meal with no drink. The workers are very nice and friendly.
