“The phrase homestyle cooking is lived up really well it just screams southern and whole i reccomend this place to anyone for lunch dinner or breakfast perfect little side of the road place especially for on the job lunch breaksParking: Not the biggest but will do for how small a location it pretty quaint but bearable no complaints from me and some really cool vehicles to spot to”
“the food is really good as well as there service. they are friendly and helpful when taking you order. there prices are just right. the amount of food you get is just right.”
“Garcia’s is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve had in the area. Was surprised to see that the food was fresher to order which to me, makes the food taste better. You could taste the love in every bite and boy was the food filling. Whenever I’m in camping in town. I’ll make sure to stop by -”
“It was really really delicious food for a great price. I will be returning and I can't wait to try some different stuff. Hands down I found a diamond in the ruff.”
“My husband and I stopped here on a whim and are SO happy that we did. The wine is delicious (we ended up buying a case!) and as a bonus, the resident cat, Mr Mittens, is absolutely adorable. We 10/10 recommend visiting!”
“This is such a unique place. Very family friendly. The animals are adorable❤️ We loved everything we ordered and we ordered alot. Worth the money & the drive! Even if you only go once.”
“I just ate the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. I have no idea what just happened there, it was pretty traditional, but it blew my mind. It was some tlc magic touch or something but wow it was good”
“Bit pricey but well worth it. Awesome service, serve size is nice, too. Great desserts. No complaints, plus it was clean inside.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible”
“I met up with someone here to buy a vehicle. While I was waiting I went in the bakery. It was so impressive. There were pastries of every color and size. Some were just beautiful. The store is clean and we'll stocked with all kinds of new flavors that I would like to try. I was introduced to the hot chocolate tablets and they are addictive. Some of the wonderful people there spoke English and helped me to decide what I may enjoy. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I had to go get a friend to bring me back to pick up my new vehicle. When we got there they were making street tacos on the veranda. They were delicious and the day was perfect for eating outside. I have no complaints about this place, only good memories from a great experience.”
“You have to take care of your diet, but it is inevitable when entering La Esperanza not to want to try a little of everything, there are countless delicacies for all tastes.”
“First of all, they now accept credit cards. The outside of the building looks bad, but the inside is spotless! It's nice to see a small place with a high health department score (94). The food was great and so was the service! The owners are very good folks. Will definitely go back again!!!”
“The meat was spot on with the cook, just perfect. Not my favorite sauce of all time, but still good. Just a bit on the sweet side. Slaw and potatoe salad were also delicious. Great stop in my trip, good portions, very filling and a very friendly staff. And Mmmmm potato salad. I'll be back for sure.”
“If you want real authentic mexican food, this is the place to go to! Hand-made tortillas freshly made every day! The tacos AL PASTOR are my favorite! Definitely recommend!”
“I am Davey L. Rich with Best Burgers in America Association, and I travel all over rating burgers for restaurants. I went to Tickled Pink and rated their Cheeseburger and they scored a perfect 10. I rated their burger "Best Hometown Burger in Dekalb Co."”
“I would rate this place all 5's if it wasn't for the small hill in the road that makes it extremely difficult to see if vehicles are coming or not. Food, service and inside atmosphere are all great! Slaw-dog is one of the best I've ever had.”
“Large proportions, DELICIOUS, seasoned food. Affordable prices. Good service. There's plenty of seating and is suitable for large groups to dine in. They also offer takeout. Parking is limited and fill up quickly. Also support a small business and bring cash ;)FOOD:Papusa Revuelta (4.5/5): The chicharrón was shredded small and evenly applied throughout. The ratio was about 1:1 chicharrón to cheese. The flavor, ahhhh the flavor was soooo good. Personally, I would have preferred my papusa to be toasted and filled more. As another reviewer mentioned, the papusas don't taste as good when it sits, so eat then while they're hot. I can't comment on the curtido bc I don't like curtido. Almost all the papusas were $2.50 each. Sopa de Mariscos con Crema (5/5): This soup has bluecrab, fish, imitation crab, shrimp, mussels and vegetables. We got it with cream & the crushed red pepper on the side. I was expecting small chunks of fish and a crab claw. Nah, y'all getting a whole experience! There was a whole filet of fish, lots of shrimp, and half of a bluecrab. This soup was so good and filling! Filete Pescado con Camarones (5/5): The breading on the shrimp and fish was well seasoned. The shoe string fries were fresh and crunchy. I've never had Salvadoran rice but I prefer it over the regular Spanish - it's lighter and fluffy.”
“Food is actually pretty good, service is better!!! The drinks are nice as well!!! Good place to stop and eat lunch or supper!!! Chicken nachos are my favorite, I just suggest they make their goat cheese just a little thicker and not so thinned out and diluted with milk... It makes the tortilla chips soft and soggy!!!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly environment!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Front door wheelchair access”
“This is our favorite family Mexican Food restaurant. From the chips and salsa to the menu options for children and adults alike, the food options are great and come quickly and well prepared. Prices have gone up over the last few years due to inflation, but that's almost everywhere. The sopapillas were fantastic! Service was a little slow for a relatively slow night, but our server was very accommodating of our requests.”
“Super great customer service, very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I each got a large bbq sandwich combo and the sandwiches were huge! Very good fries cooked fresh and the tea was great. Highly recommend The Panther Cafe.”
“Had the steak. The one without the cheese. Was surprisingly good. And the side plate with the traditional Mexican delicacies like the mashed bean, salad, avocado was in perfect harmony.”
“We haven't had Subway all that much within the past 5 years or so. Weeks back we decided to grab some samiches and take home. We live less than 3 miles from there. Both were very, very good. The employees make you feel quite welcome and do all they can to ensure all is ok before leaving. Only fault I have with any Subway is they don't offer any sort of discount for the military. I've noticed many establishments are like that, but some say, if you come on Veterans Day, we'll give a 10% discount. WOW, once a year.”
“Went through drive thru today, the cashier “ Connie” in drive thru taking orders is such a sweet heart greeted me with a smile, not rushing me or anything. Great customer service! She definitely needs a raise!”
“We were in Albertville, Alabama from Ohio to be with family. They recommended Jack's. A fast food place, yes, but the chicken fingers were juicy, tender and delicious! The Big Jack's burger tasted flame broiled with crispy lettuce, tomatoes and was oh so good! Great crinkle fries and a thick hand dipped chocolate shake! Our first time here, but hopefully not our last. Sadly, there are no Jack's restaurants in Ohio. And before I forget, the prices were really reasonable!”
“This is the best Jacks restaurant I’ve ever been to. Stopped this morning to get a steak biscuit, and both the biscuit and the steak were fresh cooked and delicious. The people who worked there were very friendly and helpful. This Jacks also has truck parking, and there were many truckers there (which is always a good indication of good food).Parking: Plenty of car parking and a large parking lot for trucks.”
“Limon's has a small town, family owned feel. Food selection is broad and, like most places, service level depends on how busy it is. Atmosphere feels festive, yet quaint. I didn't have any experiences that would question cleanliness.”
