This is the ABSOLUTE BEST Five Guys in all of lower Alabama and the West Florida Panhandle area. The fries are always crispy and delicious. They are limp and under cooked at most of the other stores (except the Pace, FL store). The burgers are always cooked completely, and not pink in the middle, like I sometimes get in Pensacola. But most importantly, the staff is always super friendly and keep the atmosphere welcoming and fun.
Some folks complain about the pricing at Five Guys but I don't mind it. The food is always fresh and (to my knowledge) never frozen. You get what you pay for; great fresh food will cost more than cheap food from McDonald's. Five Guys has one of the best burgers in all fast food.
We came by for a quick meal after lacrosse. Their credit card reader was down so cash only. The staff was really kind - they had been without the card reader for 3 hours or so. The buyers and fries were very good....it was fast and I'm pretty sure we got wayyy more fries than we ordered (large fry). We kind of threw out cash together since we hardly have it on us after a day at the concession stand. This location was clean ans the bun was toasted perfectly. Would return!
