Hook-and-Ladder is sooooo good. This visit was great and the sandwiches back up to a really high standard. Fresh bread and high quality shaved turkey with Swiss and mushroom, yum. They always get a return visit because of cherry limeade, full sugar, sugar free and carbonated.Plus they are into sharing profits with good causes. Gotta love them.
First thing I noticed when entering was that a young woman was sweeping the dining area. Paper menus close to the entrance, so customers could see what they wanted before approaching the counter. They had some tables in front of the counter and food prep area, forcing customers to keep their distance. Plexi/acrylic glass separated customers and employees. Great food and wonderful service. Workers greeted us as we walked in the door even though they were very busy. Our food was nicely packed to go. As we left we were thankful for coming in. Very friendly staff, professional and personable, and the food was delicious.
