Excellent & not overpriced. Only 1/2 mile east of 98, so you can stop by on way to Beach and it's not out of the way !
Best thing: Getting to build my own custom creation, and my wife absolutely loved the turtle. Everything tasted great.
Type of Food: Freshly made premium frozen custard, custom blend-ins (Whitsers), cookie sandwiches (Whitties), sundaes, shakes, and floats.
Review: The custard here is fantastic. We loved all of it—the ability to make your own custom creation is a huge plus, and the classic turtle flavor was excellent. The shop itself is nicely tucked away in Daphne and features a very pleasant outdoor seating area to relax and enjoy your treat.
Cons: The layout of the parking lot and drive-through is highly inconvenient. The drive-through path uniquely wraps around the entire entrance and exit areas. If the drive-through line gets long, it blocks the main pathway and makes it very difficult to easily access or maneuver into the parking lot.
Thumbs up / Thumbs down: Thumbs up (We would definitely go back for the custard, though we'll be mindful of the drive-through line next time!).
