I’ve been eating at Mr. G’s since 1974 - 1975 timeframe when my mother, Kate Williams, and I first moved to Demopolis, and I still highly recommend it. Although there is a huge difference in management between 1975 and 2024, but the tradition of food and service quality lives on by the influences of the local Demopolis populace. Food is over priced and incorrect every time.
I'm from Georgia and my grandma and I stopped and it's was better than Olive garden in Georgia/ Spaghetti and meatballs.loved it

Mr. G's Pizza offers a mixed experience according to recent diners. The pizza, including a Pepperoni, mushroom, Jalapeno, and Xtra cheese option, had a sweet sauce. Service was okay, but some workers were disrespectful. The lack of menus, long wait times, and disappointing food quality left some unsatisfied. Mr. G’s pizza was the first pizza eaten by one customer when it was located in Demopolis down by the river back in the early 80’s, and it was even better the second time. The deluxe pizza is the best oven baked pizza you will ever find, and it’s even good later when it’s cold. Mr. G's Pizza was a wonderful experience, with the spaghetti and meatballs dinner and the chicken parmesan being absolutely delish and coming with an excellent serving size. They have a drive thru. The inside was a bit gloomy, but the food made up for this ten fold.
