“The staff here is always fantastic! The food is always on point. If you're looking for a place to get some chicken, this is it. The parking lot is fenced off because they are doing work. It's not really inconvenient. Just make sure that you're alerts when you drive through so you don't hit anybody or any fences.”

“This place is a hidden gem in Pleasant Grove. 15-20 minutes from Birmingham and with the drive. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The food is very fresh and delicious, you can tell there's a lot of love put into it. There are American choices for the less adventurous eaters and children's menu, also vegetarian options! My personal favorites are the falafel plate, Greek salad, tahini sauce, hummus and baklava. All homemade! Go try it, you won't be disappointed!”

“Went here after a cheer competition! We had a large party and were set quickly! Our waitress had multiple large parties and was absolutely fabulous! Food was amazing! The kids enjoyed the outside area while waiting on food! Very accommodating to allergies and picky eaters! Highly recommend! Only con is that they don’t have one in Murfreesboro, TN!!”

In addition, they offer throughout the week live music entertainment, 1/2 off wine on Wednesday, kid’s eat free on Tuesdays, Cooking classes, and bouncy house for kiddos on the weekends. “Moved to the area not long ago from Nashville. We were concerned about finding a good sushi place and have tried several around Hoover with not finding the right place yet. Tonight we decided to try Unagi and we are so glad we did! Edamame was fresh, wife had the Hometown Roll and I had the Big Al with Soypaper. They were both delish! Service was just as good. Also had the house ginger salad to round out an overall GREAT experience and meal! We will be back for sure and the bonus is living withing 2 mins. Thanks for a great experience!”

“Been wanting to try this for a long time. I can critically(costructively) say that some portions were too small for the one-time cafeteria type service. But the staff and atmosphere were comfy. Nothing fancy. The food was seasoned well. Not surprised when seeing the seasoned cooks! lol! No long wait to be served when we arrived right about 11:25 a.m. Parking is tight and crowded. Getting your food to go and drive-through are great options. I will return.”

I loved everything about this place from the moment i walked in the door and upon cashing out and leaving...Great customer service they were very sweet and informational..i felt like i was talking to family!i am very serious when it comes to customer service,if i dont feel welcome i will leave and won't return! it was a nice simple menu (not overwhelming with 1,000 items)we ordered a iced caramelicous latte,a banana best smoothie and a banana nut blast meal replacement.Everything we ordered was Great!plus everything was AFFORDABLE!”

“Masa is our absolute FAVORITE place to eat! Our kids LOVE it and the owners treat us like family with warm smiles and big hugs when we come! The food is always excellent with a HUGE sushi menu, we still haven’t tried it all yet but we have loved everything we have tried! Our 6 year olds ask for it all the time! Masa is like our home away from home when we need an excellent meal and don’t feel like cooking!”
