So naturally, I messed up and ordered grilled nuggets instead of fried.

I jumped up in a panic, but before I could even explain myself, Vaune appeared like a customer-service superhero. She just smiled and said, “Not a problem,” and seconds later brought me the fried nuggets I should’ve ordered.

When we finished eating, she literally intercepted me halfway to the trash can with a cheerful, “I’ll take that for you.”
And while I took my daughter to the play area, she spent time talking to my pregnant wife, who was having a rough day, and genuinely lifted her spirits.

“..been passing this place for a few weeks, and I decided to give it a try. I ordered a hot wings plate and a fried catfish plate with shrimp fried rice as a back-up. I was impressed with all of ��“

“Been coming to Chick-fil-A for over 40 years I get a chicken egg and cheese biscuit every time been getting it for 40 years it's delicious it's super delicious. Today however the chicken biscuit had the smallest piece of chicken I've ever seen on a biscuit like the biscuit was twice the size of the chicken. Is this something new or did I just get up bad biscuit it was delicious but I was not impressed I don't think Truitt Cathy would be impressed either“

“I enjoy 5-Guys and I enjoy their Tea, unsweetened tea to be specific. No unsweetened tea today. Okay, maybe they ran out, making some more…but not the case. I asked, “sorry we don’t have any unsweetened tea today”. That in my opinion is unacceptable. It’s on the menu, wasn’t busy, 6 people working, had sweetened tea. If they can make sweetened tea, they can make unsweetened tea, appeared to just choose not to make it. I’ll be back in the hopes this was an aberration and this location hasn’t fallen pray to the apathy affecting many other fast food locations.“

“The only reason I left a review is because we got our drive thru order wrong and we called the place when I got home and notices our order was wrong and gave us the wrong sandwiches.They completely replaced our order with no attitude and positive vibes.“

“Rarely do I feel the need to write a positive review but I was so pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. There was a long line but it was super fast. This is the first place I’ve seen with a double drive through that makes sense. The price and portion sizes are fantastic. The employees were friendly. The food tasted great.“

“DQ has gotten a bad rap on the internet and not to say some DQ, maybe as the internet suggests . To be fair, the DQ I went and go to has a good rating for the health department, and it's clean. Even in the lunch rush, I was impressed and will return.“

“This Hardee’s absolutely deserves a shout-out. The staff was great — friendly, fast, and actually seemed to care. The food was fresh, hot, and made right. I’ve never left a review for a fast-food chain before, but this team earned it. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Definitely one of the best Hardee’s experiences I’ve ever had.“

“Hands down, the best cheesesteak spot in Dothan. The food here is incredible (so flavorful, juicy, and made exactly right). You can tell they care about quality. On top of the amazing food, the service was outstanding. The crew was super friendly, efficient, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, especially the chinese staff who got my attention. “Checkers really did their thing today. I visited at 10:17am 7/13/25.

The customer service was outstanding. My host was Kenyotta, she was so nice. My food was so good. The most crucial part is my drink was filled to the top with ice as I prefer keeping my drink crispy cold during a hot day. The coke was good. Wasn't flat, odd flavored or anything. It was perfect. Thankyou for the good service today.“

“Checkers dosnt get enough credit. From my experiences they are always friendly, always insures the speed of service, and quality of order. Food is always hot and fresh. The absolute best thing on the menu is the fry breaded mozzerella sticks. Man are they good. But the chicken bacon mother cruncher is also a favorite.“

“I always go through the drive thru. My grandmother and I frequent this location often for my papa. He is unable to leave his home now and loves their mocha shake. He always wants extra chocolate and whipped cream. There's a young gentleman who is always so kind and goes above and beyond. He puts a smile on both my papa and grandmas faces.“

“Thanksgiving evening the guy bearded ..cool star wars shirt is fabulous also his young assistant young blond boy very polite they made my Thanksgiving JD can be proud these guys are his I think the dark haired bearded one works in the AM they deserve an A+++“

“I haven't had checkers in a few years so this was a nice little treat. The burgers were huge and well made. The price is a little more than I remembered it being but it was on par with other fast-food restaurants. I would return again. Also the amount of food was perfect for what I paid.“

“Hardees is a little proud of their food as it reflects in their prices.
They seem a little more pricey than others with not a whole lot of deals.
The atmosphere was very family friendly, the food was very fresh, the staff were friendly and seemed like they enjoyed being there.
I still recommend them over the golden arches.
Wish they'd bring back their fried chicken.
They could probably do a little better with discounts and better rewards in their app.
But overall, barring the elevated prices, you cant go wrong here.
Very clean, and the interactions with the staff made me want to go back.“

“We’ve been coming to this DQ for nearly 6 years consistently (sometimes weekly) and have never been disappointed. The staff recognizes my son as “the cupcake boy” because he always gets the cupcake treats in the freezer. This time he wanted only vanilla ice cream with red icing and the sweet lady had no problem doing just that. We love this DQ!“

“My first time coming to this subway and after walking into a rush zone at 7am,the only worker who was their was a guy name Josh and I have to tell you,he was handling the customers inside,online orders and door dash with people steady coming in.He was fast,polite, professional and a great sandwich artist on top of that.An all around great and outstanding worker.“

“I come to this McDonald's daily (normally around 7:30 am) for breakfast and have never had a problem until today (I came at 9:45, different crew). I placed my usual order and waited. Upon receiving my order my iced coffee was missing the Carmel so I asked for Carmel to be added. The lady (and I use that term lossely) said I put the Carmel in there (it was quite bitter with no Carmel taste at all) and made an ugly face at me. I then told the server at the front counter that they could throw the drink in the garbage as there was no way that I would drink it. The manager came out and offered a refund which I refused. Then the server came out and apologized which she had nothing to be sorry about. She said she had to tell the manager because she didn't want her face messed up (she was an older lady). Sad that she has to be scared of a co-worker. I decided to leave without eating anything.“

“If this is the same mcd's on west main st near publix , this is our fave place!! Yes , McDonald's isn't a super fascinating life-long carreer in my opinion , but it is a job for many people, pays the bills or good bit of a bill / bills depending on where you live. However , this location is the best !! They are open the latest and always seem to have the best outlook on the job they sign up for. We do many online orders & once or twice went inside to eat. Either way , we have always had a great experience with this location. Even if items aren't correct 100% or we have a few items left out , they are always making sure we have what we need to be satisfied. Awesome crew with each visit. Even though our visits & orders are at night , the crew always makes sure we have all we need or want.“

“I love Papa John’s pizza but I noticed that the last time I was in picking up my pizza you couldn’t move forward with the new card readers without saying you don’t want to leave a tip or leave one. My question is why should I tip the people who are making salary when I use my gas and my time to pick it up. If I had it delivered yes I definitely should tip the driver! But if I go pick it up it shouldn’t ask me if I want to leave it tip.“
