“In a town full of BBQ joints, this one stands out alone. Simple. Delicious. Affordable. This place keeps the menu and the food simple in the best possible way. They know what they do and they knock it out of the park.The owner is very friendly and while the "atmosphere" of the restaurant is far from fancy, I will be ordering food from here every time I'm in Mobile, I can promise you that.If you're coming here to sit down and eat, don't expect anything fancy. Folding tables and canned drinks. Here, it's all about the meat, and frankly, that's all that matters when it's this good.“

“got the pulled pork sandwich. meat had ZERO flavor and was as dry as boomer humor. the seasoning sauce was water scared with garlic powder. potato salad was disrespectfully disgusting. banana pudding was watery and the bananas were black. green beans were dumped from a can and had less seasoning than printer paper. Mac and cheese was essentially just pasta in a cheese water sauce and the atrocity of what they dare to call sweet tea was an insult to all southerners. get a better staff too. they carried a conversation and it was quite clear they wanted to keep talking when I was approaching. the lady at the pickup register talked over me and was obviously annoyed to be at work.“

“In my opinion, today’s food was awful. My grill quarters that I purchased as a take home meal was still pink on the inside as if it was rushed on the grill. They were out of a few items on menu. Lastly, what makes the taste of the chicken is the sauce that wasn’t even placed in the bag. I have had better but it was something about today. However, my son’s ribs in his opinion were burnt and just wasn’t good. I will return in hopes that the food is better.“

“Was a last minute decision to stop in late on our way home. Glad we did! Over the top service, friendly and attentive (and we walked in 40 minutes before closing). Ribs and pull pork were very tasty with leftover to take home! Will be going back! Thank you for a good dinner Ron!“

“The rib tips and smoked sausage were fantastic. The bbq sauce is vinegary, just a heads up to let you know what sort of BBQ sauce you’re getting. With that said, it’s delicious. Well balanced and you get a hot cup of it when you sit down with white bread.
10/10. 11/10 with rice. IYKYK.“

“I was introduced to Rodgers BBQ back in 2003 when I was in the military by a close friend that's from Mobile, AL. Im out of the military and I now live in McDonough, GA just south of Atlanta, but I'm from Baton Rouge. So everytime I make a trip back home, I make sure to stop at Rodgers on my way back to McDonough.“

“We often stop by Hickory Pit when we're heading to Mobile. Food is always great.The kitchen staff are EXTREMELY generous with food portions. So we can usually go home with more leftover BBQ than we ate for dinner! The wait staff are all very kind and patient. Very nice experience if you're in the mood to EAT!“

“Longhorn is one of my favorite restaurants period. Not even just steakhouses. My wife surprised me with a date and I'll never say no.
Needless to say they didn't disappoint! The steak was delicious and we tried the lava cake for the first time and it was incredible. Can't wait to go back again“

“This was a great experience! They gave me unlimited bread and omg have you tried the rattlesnake bites? They are BUSSING! Have to try! And the bread is so good. A week earlier I went to Santa Fe and their bread was good, but this is extraordinary!!!!! And the workers were so nice to me it was like I had to do something g nice so here I am! Go try this place NOW!!!!“
