everythijg was so good with the soup
I had the stuffed lobster, it was fantastic. My wife had the quesadillas. They were very good as well. I did not realize that you could get this kind of seafood in our part of the state. They must spend a fortune to bring this kind of seafood in in Birmingham. Alabama, it has such a good flavor very fresh. The young lady that waited on us was fantastic.
I had fried calamary and an aguachile and let me tell yall they were awesome. Staff is friendly our waitress cracked some jokes with us very attentive she was on top of us the whole time 10 out of 10

Del Mar Marisquería is a Mexican seafood restaurant in Birmingham. The seafood has such a good flavor and is very fresh. Guests did not realize you could get this kind of seafood in our part of the state. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service was fantastic.
Recommended dishes include the stuffed lobster, the quesadillas, the fried calamary, the aguachile, the pulpo preparado, the Botana Marisquera with shrimp, octopus and oysters, the pulpo tostada, the shrimp empanadas, the tamarind drink, the whole red snapper that came with rice, salad and fries, the shrimp ceviche, the Shrimp Del Mar Style, the steak fajitas, the Aguachiles Negros, and the Kora Style Shrimp. A fabulous fish tostada is served instead of the usual chips & salsa.
The plates come with side salad, rice, and fries unless it’s an appetizer or soup. The prices are exceptional for the amount of food given. Fresh, tasty, and made to order.
