“Best ceviche I have ever had - and I’m from a costal state where it’s very popular. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was awesome! I had the Masa Custed Trout - 10 out of 10!! My son had Barbaccoa quesadilla, it was great too! Little one had a bacon quesadilla he ate ALL of it shocking for put 9 yo! Seriously though, go! You won’t regret it!!“

“Some of the very best Mexican food we have in our city! We eat here once a week and absolutely love it! (This and El Barrio) The guacamole and the cheese dip are so yummy and the steak tacos are phenomenal! Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is so enjoyable. Great patio seating too.“

“Lucas, at the location in Homewood made me a Bloody Mary to die for. It was literally the best I've had and I'm 50. His personality, skill, and kind ora was the highlight of my day. It's not everyday that you find good food, good drinks, and wonderful customer service. Go by and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed...pinky promise✨️
P.S. Lucas is very easy on the eyes, you can't/ won't miss him.“

“Everything was wonderful. We went out for mother's day and they gave out roses for the mothers. The food was delicious and they brought us extra napkins I forgot to bring for the cake (it had been my mom's birthday 2 days before) our server was excellent too. I can't thank them enough for their kindness.“

“I’m way behind in offering a recommendation for the Homewood location of Maya. Between there and the Alabaster location, my Mexican food cravings are more than covered and they are always patient with my substitutions and the like. Service is top-notch and the food is excellent. Highly recommended!“

“The food here was amazing.. They prepared my food fast but the only problem I had is when I came in with my Service dog, which had Service dog jacket on was told that I had to leave. I told him she was a service dog and he said he didn’t care and I told him that he might have the ADA down here if he doesn’t let me order some food and go then he let me come in and get my food. My dog was properly marked with a jacket service dog maybe they need to be educated about Service dog in the ADA.“

“Me and my wife wanted to try something new for taco Tuesday. We decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised. The margaritas were delicious. They have a real bar and bartender. Fajitas were not sizzling but they were hot. Service was okay. We will definitely come back.“

“Ordered 4 chicken tacos & 4 steak tacos...I will say not enough sauce to even put on your tacos...very dry with the sauce provided. I got the green and red sauce (2 each provided) for 8 tacos; oh, and a steak burrito w/o beans. Was not very satisfying for the money spent. Please ask for a LOT of sauce if you get this order...I mean a lot.“

“I really enjoyed the food here. I got chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, and everything was delicious. Only thing was that I didn't like the salsa. It wasn't bad tasting just a little bland, but my fiance said he liked it. Overall I would recommend you give this place a try. We plan to come back to try more dishes in the future“

“Thank you all for accommodating our party of 18 very last minute… These guys are great. Literally called from Logan’s and asked if they’d accommodate our party due to poor service at Logan’s. They said yes come on. We walked across the parking lot walked in stood for less than 5 mins and they had us set up and ready to go. Food was fantastic… All the staff were so friendly.. Our waitress was exceptional. She handled our big crowd perfectly.. Highly recommend trying the fresh guacamole 🤩. If you want good food and good service definitely try them out…“
“Best tacos hands down. Tacos are always packed with lots of meat and served w/ grilled nopales (cactus) and cebollita taquera(green onion). They give you green and red salsa bottles to take to your table to enjoy throughout your meal. For drinks they offer Jarritos or agua frescas. Aside from tacos they also have quesadillas, pambazos, burritos, etc.“

“Staff is always friendly and very helpful. My husband loves to practice his Spanish here and they are always trying to help. He asked how to say something in Spanish and our waiter was kind enough to write the phrase down for him. Food and drinks are great. Gracias mis Amigos!“

“I had the stuffed lobster, it was fantastic. My wife had the quesadillas. They were very good as well. I did not realize that you could get this kind of seafood in our part of the state. They must spend a fortune to bring this kind of seafood in in Birmingham. Alabama, it has such a good flavor very fresh. The young lady that waited on us was fantastic.“
