The Hope Farm is the new leader on Fairhope's restaurant scene! Six of us had the loveliest dinner there this week, it could not have been better. Such complex (and perfect) combinations of flavors and textures in the food, impeccable service, and a crisp, clean, beautiful contemporary environment.
We sat outside on the terrace with live music which was fun. Our waitress was very efficient and the food came out quickly. We ordered the perfect pimento cheese app to go with our cocktails. had hangar steak and my partner had short ribs, both of which were cooked perfectly. And the amazing peach crumble baked Alaska prepared tableside was a perfect ending. Loved it all!
The food was excellent & it's a lovely venue. The service was a little slow & our server seemed to be mainly focused on preparing cocktails & drinks for other diners. Everyone who works there seems to take themselves a little too seriously! Would have loved to experience a little more "warm southern hospitality" & a little less "upscale dining".
