The BBQ sauces are unique and wonderful!! I will crave this meal til I get to return and I will recommend this place to anyone that will listen ;)“

“6 out of 5 stars!Came into Columbus, GA for work and woke up starving. I found The Smokey Pig from a suggestion on my GPS and figured I would try it out. I showed up right as the owner, Robbie, was opening up at 10am. He was very cool and friendly. Let me try some of the meats he had on the open smoke rack while I was getting my bearings and deciding on what to eat. The place was clean and has a good amount of seating. The food: oh Lord, THE FOOD!! It was phenomenal. I had the chipped pork BBQ sandwich with their signature BBQ sauce and two sides: baked beans and homemade Brunswick stew. I got a second sandwich. I had to. Then he mentioned the chilled banana pudding and I was sold. All told with a Large fountain drink I spent 24$ (including tip) and I had half of it devoured before I left the parking lot. Spread the word: THE SMOKEY PIG BBQ is the best BBQ in Columbus, maybe even all of GA. “Johnny is my go to for bbq. Hes been there forever and knows how to cook. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and its just an old school atmosphere. Their hours have changed to Monday-Wednesday 11 to 6 and Thursday-Saturday 11 to 7 which is posted at the restaurant but not on the website or Google. I always enjoy the bite-sized with stew.Kid-friendliness: They do not have a kids menu. However, their 4 oz sides are good for the little ones. They also have high chairs and boostwr seats. Parking: They have more than enough parking for the customers. Wheelchair accessibility: They are wheel chair accessible. They also have table and chairs which is great for wheelchair bound people.“
“DANG!!!! We have been here for six months and we are foodies. This has been the best BBQ meal we have had so far. The ribs were on point, the pork was on point, the wings were on point and yes the collards, bean, Mac were fantastic. We will definitely be back and we will be bringing our friends and family here when they come and visit. Thank you for a wonderful meal.“
“It was pretty damn good brisket could have been just a tad more tender but it had an amazing smoke taste flavor dat wasnt over powering and smoke ring.....Smoked Turkey was amazing as well and I'll definitely be going back ?customer service was and atmosphere was a 10 ??✌?“
“This place deserves another excellent review. Just like the reader before me.. great bbq (chipped or chopped) got 1.5 lbs of both to take to the beach with us. Awesome sauce and first time having buttermilk pie. Don’t judge a book by the cover. Go in and order and meet some very nice folks.“
