“Bow & Arrow Restaurant in Auburn, AL is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I have always had a delightful experience and the food is abolutely delicious. Bow & Arrow serves up an assortment of smoked meats that can be enjoyed on their own with an array of traditional southern and tex mex sides like mashed potatoes and gravy, collard greens, borracho beans, and sweet corn rice. The menu also includes enchiladas, fajitas, tacos as well as a brand new cocktail menu featuring twenty-six new libations, with of course, margaritas! I had the BBQ sandwich with fries and it was absolutely delicious and my server was very friendly and was attune to my needs.“
“Variety of meats, especially the pork belly and brisket were great! Good waitress! We enjoyed grilling at the table with family. We were hungry so we ordered a lot and were full when we were done 2 hours later. Don’t order the rice. It’s served in a large bowl and it’s better to fill up on meats, radishes, jap chae, steamed egg, and scallion salad instead. We had a great experience and will go back.“
“I couldn't read about two-thirds of the menu, and our server also spoke halting English, but good Lord was the food delicious. I got the grilled mackerel (it turned out to be the entire fish), and the meat was flakey and the skin was the perfect level of crispy.“
“This is a gem, too bad I found it near the end of my project in Auburn, but glad it was shown to me regardless. Excellent wings, full bar, great atmosphere, the smoker gives amazing flavor to everything, my poor girlfriend probably hears me talk about this place more than the project. It's one of my top 5 in Auburn!!“
“This was a 1st for me, and it's not going to be the last. Relaxed atmosphere and our waiter, Samuel, who appeared to be new, tried to explain everything to me. Some of the dishes came out late because he got confused, but he was really nice. We ordered mixed drinks that were good, but they snuck up on us, lol. I would definitely recommend it.“
“Delcious BBQ in a fun atmosphere. I always look forward to the chance to go to Moes for BBQ. The location downtown is also nice because when you are finished eating you can enjoy all the other nice shops that are close by. Highly recommend.“
“We were in town for a couple of days and needed a place for lunch. Jim 'N Nick's was recommended by our hotel. BBQ from Alabama was high on my list and, oh by, was this the place! Sitting at our table, watching them serve another group with a full rack of ribs, I almost fell out. The 1/2 rack was double the amount of tasty, falling off the ribs, BBQ. Another of our group described the ribs and meaty, and they weren't wrong. Service was excellence, the place was comfortable, but the ribs.... Why talk about anything else. Oh, my bride had the loaded potatoes and was totally happy.“
“Update on the update: The owners were retiring so they sold the business to the same guys who own Baumhower's Victory Grill. Looks like the regulars have kept coming because the place is pretty packed for lunch. As far as I can tell from a single plate of barbecue it hasn't changed all that much. Fried potatoes are still golden fried deliciousness and you just can't beat their cornbread. I did notice from their posted hours that they close right after lunch so don't expect any barbecue for dinner. I was worried this great Auburn eatery was facing the same fate as Price's Barbecue House and being bulldozed to build another student housing complex. Thankfully that is not the case.“
