“We were greeted warmly by the staff when we entered and brought drinks immediately. The food was delicious and our waitress was cheerful and attentive. Our table had pimento cheese puffs for an appetizer, and they were served with pepper jelly. The serving was just right for the four of us. We had shrimp and grits (the grits were creamy and heavenly), grilled chicken sandwich (with some of the best fries!), and two of us had the cobia which was served with a lemon caper sauce, wild rice, and roasted Brussels sprouts. The fish was mild and the serving was generous. The collard greens were my only disappointment, although my husband liked them. They were a bit dry for my taste. Overall this was a delightful meal.”

The atmosphere is bright and cheerful yet serene. Fresh flowers adorn each table and silverware (real stainless, not plastic!) is wrapped in a cloth napkin. Farm to table AND a business plan which focuses on supporting teens with developmental disabilities? I will be back and will sing the praises of Beautiful Rainbow! 🌈”

“The only place I go get fried chicken from! The fingers are good, but bone-in is better. Seasoned well, the fries are good and we love the honey drizzled biscuits. Since we discovered them we no longer have to go all the way to Popeyes.”

“It was okay...nothing to brag about, she did make fresh coffee, however the grits were cold-barely melted the cheese, put so much h butter on out toast we had to reorder toast, bacon cramped on same plate as main meal, made an event of how much my military discount was...this location only discounts the Veterans portion of the meal...no one else. Two egg breakfast with bacon is now $12! 😬”

“The food here was great compared to other waffle houses I've been to, the waitresses were very sweet and polite! I had a very pleasant experience here, the cooks did really great with our food, the hash browns were made perfectly not over cooked or under cooked. I wish I remembered our waitresses' name she was very outgoing and pleasant to talk to. Compared to other waffle houses, the management here is doing a great job keeping the place running in tip top shape!”

“I was extremely puzzled of the pricing because I ordered 12 cheese krystals with fries and two drinks. A special at the drive thru. Approximately $23. When I got to the window it came to $10 higher then tax. They said that the pricing at the drive thru hasn't caught up with the register. I reported it to Krystal but no response.”

“I have left this review in other spots in addition to this one. This restaurant earned the effort. There were three of us. We had 45 minutes to eat and then 15 to get to the courthouse for a meeting. I had seen the place a few weeks before and wanted to try it. When we arrived the parking lot was about full. Good sign for food quality usually. Bad sign for someone who only has 45 minutes to eat. We asked the wait-staff if they thought they could pull-off a 30 minute race to get our food to the table. She worked with us by advising what meals/items took longer to prepare and we said game on. Best burgers I have had in Alabama in a decade. T H E B E S T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All three of us were in awe of how good the meal was. The wait-staff was fast, courteous, knowledgable, helpful, and pleasant. I am usually happy if I get just two of those in a server. Our server had them all. We are already planning to go back for a less rushed, more relaxed dinner soon. The dining room was clean, comfortable, and did not have the echo-filled cafeteria acoustics a lot of places do. Outstanding place. Outstanding burgers. Outstanding service. I highly recommend it.”

“I love the old decor and age of this building. We had the side salads with the house made Italian dressing which was really good. We ordered the better girl pizza. Deep dish pizza with fresh quality toppings. They definitely have their own take on pizza it's not your traditional stuff. Its better than any of the chain pizza places out there. Plenty of cheese good sauce nice crunchy edges. Highly recommend.”

“I finally visited the original Back Forty Brewing in Gadsden. I’ve been to both the Birmingham and Huntsville locations on multiple occasions. I arrived shortly after they opened on a Saturday. I was the only customer for most of my visit. An older couple eventually came in and then a couple of ladies arrived to set up for a large birthday party they were having that night. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the beer. The beer selection at this location was not as large as the other 2 breweries but the were still a lot of choices. I started with the Peanut Butter Porter which is very smooth for a 10% ABV beer. I sampled the Watermelon IPA and Dreamsicle IPA-Brut. Both were ok but not my favorite so I opted for a Devil’s Staircase IPA next. I also had a burger and fries. The burger was excellent. The Birmingham location is closer to home but I enjoyed visiting this location as well.”

“Outstanding job by Jackie (Mgr) & Brandon for running entire Arbys at Rainbow Dr in Gadsden Saturday 11/5/2022 by themselves! And did it with great attitude and very friendly. Jackie ran counter, drive through and cooked food and Brandon put it together correctly in a very timely matter like a well oiled machine! They worked great together. And should mention Jackie was trying to train a new hire at same time. Was an amazing thing to watch. Food was good and hot. They deserve a raise!”

“I relocated from NJ to AL about a year ago. Most know that the food in the NE of the country can’t be beat. Food has been a huge adjustment for us here. So needless to say when I found Jersey Mikes, I was BEYOND excited! Still, I was holding my breath. And subs I have had in AL have been sad, to say the least. Nothing to them, and subpar meats. However I KNOW what Jersey Mikes are suppose to be. And let me tell you, THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Here I am 24 hours later and I am still beyond thrilled!!! The food was exactly as it is suppose to be! SCORE!! Hats off on a job well done Jersey Mikes!! One MAJOR difference is the staff. The staff here in AL are HANDS DOWN, the absolute BEST!! Kind, polite, accommodating, welcoming, happy, interactive, pleasant!! The North really could take some lessons from the South when it comes to overall kindness. The staff here were AMAZING! I think every employee in the place greeted us and had some sort of pleasant interaction. Hands down, 5 ⭐️ plus to all the staff!!”

“This place was a nice surprise. We had been out on the Coosa River in Hoke's Bluff, AL all day and stopped to get something to eat before driving 2 hrs. back to Chattanooga. It's a tiny little Chinese food restaurant in a tiny little town, and it was delicious! The Hot & Sour Soup was a little different than I've had before, and it was great. The chicken lo mein was also great. They also have a lot of different flavored bubble teas if you're into that kind of thing. My daughter loves it.”
