“My son's favorite mexican restaurant!! Had the most handsome (late) lunch date with my baby boy! He goes to eat there often & we always love it when we go! “This place holds a special place in my heart, me, and my granddad came here for years when I was little. I stopped coming for a little while, but when I met my wife, we continued the tradition and have been coming regularly ever since we met. The food here is amazing, I’ve yet to eat anywhere that has better Yum Yum sauce, and the portions that you get for what you pay for are amazing. I eat a lot of food, but I still find myself ordering the children’s menu items just because of how big the portions are. The soup that is complementary is amazing too. The sweet couple that run this place are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. If I could ever eat, just one restaurant, it would be this place.”

“I love this place. I eat at Super Hibachi 2 or 3 times a week. I like how the food isn't over seasoned, so you can season it to your OWN taste. I saw the buffet items being CONSTANTLY attended to and replenished. I am ALWAYS greeted with a smile. I am ALWAYS seated right away. I like how you don't have to ask for refills on your drink, they just come right over and do it. The fresh cut fruit is delicious. The roast is AMAZINGLY tender and delicious. The sushi is awesome always. I really like the Salmon and other whole fish fillets offered. It is a t-shirt, shorts and flip flops kind of place. Or a after church kind of place as well.”

I had a very pleasant experience here, the cooks did really great with our food, the hash browns were made perfectly not over cooked or under cooked. Compared to other waffle houses, the management here is doing a great job keeping the place running in tip top shape!”

I asked for 2 cheese crystals and got 2 regular and when I asked to correct the cook came to windows and asked did I really ask for cheese when I said yes the 3 employees just set and stared at each other not knowing what to do. I got the Harvest Moon iced coffee and is was absolutely delicious my husband got an iced cappuccino and he said it was the best he had ever had. “My second time visiting and I had similar experiences both times. If you are visiting for the first time and sitting at the bar, it’s always unclear if someone will come take your order or not. Once we finally got someone’s attention service was good. We shared the burger that came with tasty fries. We had it medium raw and last time it was almost still mooing so consider that when you order. Their food menu is pretty small—-basically salads, burgers and hot dogs, or pizza. A larger appetizer menu would be nice.”

“I have left this review in other spots in addition to this one. This restaurant earned the effort. There were three of us. We had 45 minutes to eat and then 15 to get to the courthouse for a meeting. I had seen the place a few weeks before and wanted to try it. When we arrived the parking lot was about full. Good sign for food quality usually. Bad sign for someone who only has 45 minutes to eat. We asked the wait-staff if they thought they could pull-off a 30 minute race to get our food to the table. She worked with us by advising what meals/items took longer to prepare and we said game on. Best burgers I have had in Alabama in a decade. T H E B E S T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All three of us were in awe of how good the meal was. The wait-staff was fast, courteous, knowledgable, helpful, and pleasant. I am usually happy if I get just two of those in a server. Our server had them all. We are already planning to go back for a less rushed, more relaxed dinner soon. The dining room was clean, comfortable, and did not have the echo-filled cafeteria acoustics a lot of places do. Outstanding place. Outstanding burgers. Outstanding service. I highly recommend it.”

“I visit your restaurant at least twice a week sometime more. I only do drive thru .my issue is the cleanliness of your pick up window .dead moths and flies
and garbage on the ground. I know your location by the water is the reason for the moths BUT would probably take 5 or
10 minutes to wash it off before opening.Just a turn off when you're picking up food”

“I relocated from NJ to AL about a year ago. Most know that the food in the NE of the country can’t be beat. Food has been a huge adjustment for us here. So needless to say when I found Jersey Mikes, I was BEYOND excited! Still, I was holding my breath. And subs I have had in AL have been sad, to say the least. Nothing to them, and subpar meats. However I KNOW what Jersey Mikes are suppose to be. And let me tell you, THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Here I am 24 hours later and I am still beyond thrilled!!! The food was exactly as it is suppose to be! SCORE!! Hats off on a job well done Jersey Mikes!! One MAJOR difference is the staff. The staff here in AL are HANDS DOWN, the absolute BEST!! Kind, polite, accommodating, welcoming, happy, interactive, pleasant!! The North really could take some lessons from the South when it comes to overall kindness. The staff here were AMAZING! I think every employee in the place greeted us and had some sort of pleasant interaction. Hands down, 5 ⭐️ plus to all the staff!!”

Jackie ran counter, drive through and cooked food and Brandon put it together correctly in a very timely matter like a well oiled machine! They worked great together. Ordered veggies fajis and explained dietary restrictions which includes me covering no dairy ie no cheese, no sour cream, no butter. . Was brought out beans and rice which did not have cheese or sour cream per my request and again asked about butter and was told that yes, there was butter in the rice. Otherwise, very nice staff and great Margheritas, the pineapple jalapeño had pieces of real jalapeño and was delicious.

The chicken lo mein was also great. They also have a lot of different flavored bubble teas if you're into that kind of thing. My daughter loves it.”

“Ok, I’m not to good at sharing my feelings about businesses. We own companies in Gadsden. We, like GADSDEN VARIETY have been around for a long time. I wanted to say that I went in and found the neatest piano ever. I saw it and I think the one I saw was already sold? Can’t remember. Anyway I got to talking to the owner and within the week I had one. It’s in my Living room. It’s so neat. No keys, it’s closed but behind their there is a glass that shows all the working of the upright. And it has its pedals though. It’s dark wood n has writing on the back of the up right part. I love it. It’s got my family pictures on it. One other thing, when you go in, look down…..those floors. They are like walking back thru the years. They are clean. Yes, but they creak….which I will walk ALL thru just to hear them. I love going into that store. Their are still a few stores in Gadsden that are “HOME.” That’s one of the reasons why we all still live, love, n work, and own businesses in GADSDEN. Thank you GADSDEN. And thank you GADSDEN VARIETY. YOU KEEP THE WORD HOME IN HOMETOWN. IN OUR BUSINESS, (JOHNSON’S GIANT FOOD ) we believe and keep HOME IN HOMETOWN TOO.”

I got the honey pimento spicy chicken sandwich and they were skimpy on the honey pimento cheese. They did give me an extra side of it so that made up for it. I shouldn't have to request something that should already be standard on the sandwich. Other Chick-fil-A locations we go to locally where we live have not had the same result.
