“A group of us 4 ladies had so much fun at Parkside on 5th. We met Tim, the owner and he was delightful. The food and drinks were yummy and the atmosphere was perfect. I will be back. And oh, did I mention the candles? I bought several candles from Tim and they all smell delicious. I am a candle hoarder and these are the BEST. Thanks Tim for the cocktails and conversation!“

This place has not just coffee, but also REAL chai and REAL matcha from REAL ethical and sustainable sources. Need a snack? “Had the California Cobb with chipotle chicken, and my wife had the same with grilled chicken. Requested spring mix instead of arugula (not a fan of the spicy bite), but our salads came out with arugula anyway. Looks like the staff missed the order notes and just saw “California Cobb.” When we brought it up, the team replaced our salads with no hesitation and delivered them to our table with sincere apologies. Great service recovery! That said, the corrected salads were noticeably smaller and seemed rushed—maybe frustration in the kitchen? Still, they tasted fantastic. My daughter’s brownie was absolutely decadent—melt-in-your-mouth good. Overall, a good experience and we’ll definitely eat here again. Would be 5 stars if the replacement salads had matched the care of the originals. Highly recommend.“

“Arrived appx 8:45a on a Sunday, no wait for a table and service was prompt. Coffee and breakfast came out quickly and was delicious! I had biscuits with chorizo gravy, roasted red peppers (not spicy) and fried eggs. Great job, Frothy Monkey!“
