“This was our first time and it was absolutely excellent from start to finish! The manager, Brandon, was SO genuinely welcoming and accommodating. Our server, Parker, was flawless and so much fun (request him!). Every dish was perfectly cooked, refined and full of flavor (smoked salmon, fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, rainbow trout, swordfish with andouille, ribeye with truffle fondue). “Best ceviche I have ever had - and I’m from a costal state where it’s very popular. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was awesome! I had the Masa Custed Trout - 10 out of 10!! My son had Barbaccoa quesadilla, it was great too! Little one had a bacon quesadilla he ate ALL of it shocking for put 9 yo! Seriously though, go! You won’t regret it!!“

“We love Marty’s GM SO much! We moved away from the area years ago but still try to plan our trips to Birmingham around a trip to Marty’s! We always get the Chicken Bacon Ranch Egg Rolls, Goat Popper Burger, and French Fries. And then depending on what they have in the frozen machine, a frozen margarita or a bushwacker. Everything is always perfectly cooked and delicious! Honestly , it’s wild how consistent the food has been over the years. Absolutely fantastic every time we go.“

The tomatoes had a nice piquancy and the beef was thick-cut and moist. Greens were good, cornbread was a bit dry. Wife got fried chicken that was so moist she checked to make sure it had been cooked all the way (it had).

“If anyone ever worked for their money, the Hontzas family sure has. First of all, they’re usually very busy but they sure know how to keep the line moving and get everyone seated promptly. In the food line there’s something for everyone. This is one of the few places where I could get all vegetables. The neighborhood is a bit rough but don’t let that discourage you from going bc people from all sides of town eat here.“

“Thank you all for accommodating our party of 18 very last minute… These guys are great. Literally called from Logan’s and asked if they’d accommodate our party due to poor service at Logan’s. They said yes come on. We walked across the parking lot walked in stood for less than 5 mins and they had us set up and ready to go. Food was fantastic… All the staff were so friendly.. Our waitress was exceptional. She handled our big crowd perfectly.. Highly recommend trying the fresh guacamole 🤩. If you want good food and good service definitely try them out…“

“My husband and I came here for lunch on a Saturday. We set at the hibachi table, and although we were the only ones at the table the chef treated us as though we were the main characters. He was amazing in entertainment and cooking ability! The food was the best we have ever had at a hibachi. The chicken, in particular, was cooked better than most restaurants can do. It wasn't our first time to this location, but we will make sure to go more often after today!“
