Then, after she had left the check, we used the QR pay-by-phone option posted at our table. When we got up and left she chased us out of the store saying we hadn’t paid. I told her we had and walked back into the store so she could confirm.

The Pork Belly Sweet Corn was decadent, and the Blue Mac and Cheese? We’re not exaggerating when we say it was the best mac and cheese we’ve ever had, and we’ve eaten our way across continents. If they ever start shipping it, we’ll be first in line.

Dessert was a showstopper: the Thirteen Layers Chocolate Cake was rich and indulgent, and the complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries to celebrate our anniversary were the sweetest touch, literally and emotionally.
