JJ's Drive Thru Hamburgers

This place is honestly a waste of time and gas. I drove all the way out there during their posted business hours, only to find out they had already closed early with no notice. It’s extremely unprofessional. If your hours say you’re open until a certain time, then actually stay open. I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone else make the trip just to be turned away.

Today, we ate at JJ's Hamburgers in Guntersville, AL. This is a drive-thru/ walk-up location only.
We had the Double Cheeseburgers w/ bacon, Fries, Onion Rings (real) & Mozzarella Sticks.
Only ones there & took about 15mins to get our order, as everything is cook to order. Which, in some cases, may be a reason to skip this establishment.
I started by biting into an Onion Ring. I must say, at this point, i DID NOT have high hopes for the rest.. The Rings DID have a good onion taste, but i wish the batter actually had some seasoning & flavor.
Moving onto the Fries, JJ's quickly redeemed themselves! Fries are skinny & are seasoned really good 👍
Mozz Sticks were really good as well. Seasoned, good size, not overcooked/ hard.
Now for the Burgers.. i ordered mine with everything but pickle. Patties had a good, greasy burger flavor. Good size- I wouldn't get a single bc the double, to me, gives a good meat to bun ratio. Toppings were fresh. They use red onion. I'd prefer white, but nota deal breaker.
Overall, this was damn good. I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area or even remotely close! NOT disappointed!

JJ’s is a Guntersville staple. It has been around since I was a kid. It is drive thru only. They cook fresh to order. Not fast food. The seasoned fries are always piping hot and the burgers are delicious!

Really good burgers. I would suggest they put a lighted sign showing they're open though. I'll be back, this is going to be my place to go for a good burger.

When coming to JJs in Guntersville we sat for 26 minutes with only one car in line for a cheeseburger and fries. Meanwhile the employee rested on the window talking to her friend. The patty had not even been laid on the grill yet. Also this place is cash only.

It’s a little dated but the burger is timeless! The bun is great and the burger is amazing. The purple onion always crisp and a perfect component of this amazing burger. The fries are always hot and seasoned. Onion rings are extra crispy and the strawberry shake is good. I just wish the lines weren’t so long

I’ve been waiting to place an order for 25 minutes and still haven’t got my food! The other window has cars backed up. They need a manager or more help!!!

The best burger and fries I’ve had hands down!! The lady that took my order was so sweet. I’m from over 5 hours away but I’ll definitely stop by here every time I’m passing through. ❤️ make sure y’all support them so I’m not super disappointed next time I head this way!! 🤣
