“After eating lunch, I noticed this store on my way to my car. I decided to stop in and was blown away by the friendliness of the cashier. I ended up buying 5 cookies for me and my family, and we love them. They taste homemade and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for a treat.“
“It's a great place to get groceries, clothes etcetera! but... The self checkout machines are constantly down, the workers can be kinda rude when you ask for help with the self checkout machines.... honestly I'll go to Walmart till I die but this is just some of the things that bother me.“
“I love kroger in Hartselle its my favorite store..however they have a new manager who is awful. He makes up his own rules regardless what the policy says and plain lied right to my face. His name starts with a C he is a younger guy and i know he is learning but I will definitely be giving corporate a call if it happens again. Also iv never had a issue till him everyone else is so nice and kind I won't let him ruin that for me.“
“First time visit. Was surprised that most items were shipped in. We got a dry soup mix, jams, and raisin bread. Was hoping for more of a home bakery experience. Sandwiches looked good, but were nothing different than any grocery store deli.“
“My daughter kept telling me about these delicious cookies and I couldn’t figure out what all the hype was about a cookie. Well, this summer I broke down and bought some and omg!!! The lemon cookie is to die for. Only thing I don’t like is the irregular schedule because since I bought that lemon cookie, it hasn’t been on me u since.“
“EDIT:: I returned last week because the 1st time was so yummy and pleasant but this time the black guy making my food was very aggravated. Each time i spoke was clearly an issue to him. This makes me question eating here again if I see him serving the food. That's not a friendly way to conduct your business!!This is a "hole in the wall" kinda vibe here! First time ever eating here and I have to say it was good! Though a bit pricey it's hard to find the mom and pop lunch these days! The caramelcake I got was to die for, it was so good!!! “Mel's has the yummiest cookies, candy and cheese straws! The service is amazing and the overall atmosphere is great! We ordered cheese straws for a wedding and everyone kept going back for more! Melissa the owner is so kind and helpful, she loves what she does and it shows!“
“The ladies here are so sweet! We ordered fried eggs bacon and hubby got a biscuit I got the homemade bread...yummy! Everything was delicious. It is what you would probably call a hole in the wall place but food is worth stopping for. Parking is limited. We drive a semi, so we can park in pull off at the end of building. Not much seating inside, but again..still worth stopping In for breakfast. If pastries and cakes are as good as the bread I'm glad I don't live close or I would be here alot! And would need my big truck to haul me around! ?“
“For my friend's 60th birthday, we treated her to breakfast, gifts and a lovely carrot cake (ordered ahead of time) at the Main St. Bakery Cafe. It was so important to us that she feel special, and she loved every minute of our elegant brunch at the cozy table with the sidewalk view. Eating here feels like you're on a little vacation from regular life.“
