“We had a wonderful experience during our first visit to Metro Diner today. The manager, Brittney, was fantastic and took the time to explain what type of fish was used for our order (Fish & Chips). Casey, our server, was excellent as well. We will defininitely go back to try other items on the menu. I just wish you were closer to Ozark!“

“Southern Country cooking. Great sweet tea. They have a good variety and lunch specials. It’s kinda hidden on the end by Publix on 84. Have good parking if you’re traveling in an RV. Can park in front of Publix and walk there. It’s really busy during lunch. Prices a decent. Great local restaurant. I always have left overs that I take to go. I love their corn bread. And sometimes get the vegetable plate. Well lit with lots of windows with tables or booths. They have a drive through at this location.Kid-friendliness: Mostly older people with random kids and young adults.“

“Excellent broiled fish. They do a great job on the fried okra. The carot souffle is sweet for my taste, but everybody raves about it. Would make a great pie filling! They only do takeout. Clean and efficient. Definitely worth stopping in and grabbing a plate!“

“Great atmosphere, excellent food and fantastic service. Fried shrimp were expertly cooked, the brussel sprouts were wonderfully broiled and tender and the twice baked potato had a silky smooth texture and deliciously crisp and seasoned skin.“

“Waffle House has become an iconic presence on the culinary landscape here in the southeastern United States. It seems that their familiar logo beckons in all of its bright yellow neon glory road-weary travelers, partying college kids, parents with kids in tow, hungry workers seeking a casual and quick sit-down meal and just about everyone else from every walk of life. Since Waffle House opened its first location back on September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia, it quickly established itself by offering a consistent selection of food and by being open twenty-four hours a day. This particular location was next to my hotel. All in all, this was a good location with friendly service. For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never had a waffle in a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one. If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try.“
“Dothan has its fair share of hot dog places, but Dawgs N Thangs puts a spin on it that is chock full of smokey goodness! Everything on the menu has been top notch so far! And the peanut brittle....so good!Tried the smoked chicken sandwhich this go around, and it did not disappoint.“

“This location is pretty easy to find. Basic Cracker Barrel. I couldn't get the $9.95 catfish special because it was Saturday so I had to get the $11.95 one. Same amount of food, just $2.00 more. The cornbread was sweet and a little overdone, the turnips were bland, the catfish was also tasteless but the fried okra was really good. I'll have to think twice about going back in.“
