“Casual comfort food. The chicken kabob and gyro plate are excellent , good portions and a quality meal. I love the big baker for nights when you need a hug…simple goodness and I like to add gyro meat. Burgers, Gyros and fries are solid and the chick in a sack is a family favorite. Pita and hummus are delicious and the mint iced tea is a treat. This is a great meal in a chill environment.“

“We're not huge fans of Greek food, but we tried Tasty Town, mainly for convenience. We had planned a very packed day of sight-seeing in Birmingham on a Saturday. It seemed that hardly any eatery would be open and there wasn't time allowance to drive out of the downtown area, without being late for the next activity. Thus, we settled on a mid-afternoon lunch/dinner at Tasty Town. Honestly, both of us thought it was better than we had anticipated and the service and location were top notch. Thanks, Tasty Town! “Lunch was so yummy! I had the rice bowl with gyro meat and everything was fresh and the flavors were on point. Sometimes gyro meat can be dry, but not at this place. The meat was so juicy and flavorful. The service was also really good, as well. I recommend checking them out.“

“Mr. Pappas is a long time friend of my Father. He wanted a hotdog for lunch after a Doctor visit. I wanted Chicken Salad but they were out (meaning it goes fast when available) So I got the Cheese Burger instead and was happy I did. It was delicious and pretty big honestly. “My experience at this location is always great ! I do a lot of carry outs and the cashiers are always nice and friendly. I like to give kuddos to one worker in particular. “UAB location is awesome. I have visited this located several times and always clean, friendly, and food always good. I normally do online order and my order always ready when I arrive. I ate there with my mother once and it was nice and pleasant. We sat outside on the patio.“

“We go to Costa’s regularly because their food never disappoints! But I want to address the negatives: Manager/Owner, I’m not the first to write that the entire restaurant needs a deep cleaning!! The oil bottles and spices mix on the tables are really dirty. So are the ceiling fans. There is NO bartender so I wouldn’t advertise this because nobody knows how to mix a cocktail. I’ve also seen many people complain that the bread has been changed and I don’t care for it either! Please go back to the original bread! They need someone to bus tables and booths, and thoroughly wipe them clean in between customers. What we like: the salmon, lasagna, baked ziti, filet, rosemary potatoes, and steamed vegetables.“
