“Hook’s is very okay for a BBQ joint. The meat is fall-off-the-bone tender, but nothing to write home about as far as flavor goes, in my opinion. If you are in the area and need a place to eat, I would recommend this place. Going out of your way like we did… I don’t know that I would do that again. The BBQ sauce was very ketchupy… I guess if that is the way you like it, then this may be the place for you, but just not my style.”

“Good buffet, Different menu each day, you can get either one trip, or multiple trips for slightly more. They are kind of hidden, and cater more to the military pilots who are using the airfield as well as locals.”

“4 of us stopped at Country Kitchen for lunch. Seriously one of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a very long time! Staff was friendly and restaurant was very clean! If I'm ever out that way again I will be sure to stop in.”

“Good food, great menu, nice atmosphere, cold beer on draft, excellent service. Maybe my expectations were a bit low for Opp, but this place did not disappoint. Wheelhouse was on par with something you’d find in downtown Birmingham, Chattanooga or Knoxville. The price was fair for the experience. The only thing missing for a Friday night was live music. Tell your friends and family. Opp is lucky to have a gem like this. I hope they stick around.”

“Always wonderful friendly service! We’ve had the opportunity on multiple occasions to do the takeout during the Covid since they are using it to go window. I don’t know the lady’s name but she is always so friendly makes the experience even better and the food has been great.”

“Decided to have a wonderful breakfast at Hardee's this morning and boy was I wrong. I waited at the counter for 18 mins for someone to take my order, not 1 worker acknowledged me or said anything to me like "I'll be with you in just a min or anything". You have a chick with pink hair just walking around, 1 chick out in the parking lot talking to people, and 1 cook cooking, and a old lady who you cant understand calling out orders. A gentleman ordered coffee and even paid for it and then only to get told they don't have coffee so he walked out. Then another lady (customer) wait over 27mins for her food and then finally got it 10 mins later. I finally had my fill from all the inconsiderate and rudeness from the employees and unprofessionalism. I will not be back.”

“The Subway in Opp is fantastic. The employees have the best attitude, the are great to deal with, they make the most fantastic sandwiches, they are really great people.”

“ate here today. it took 50 min to get food. then when I got food my burger was wrong. they did make it right by getting me a new correct burger.they were out of coffee to make iced coffee. cashier also seemed to not know what utensils were either when asked for some utensils. I also asked for bag to put our food in the cashier was confused also.”
