I had never tried an açaí bowl before ordering one at City Bowls. It was delicious, filling, and guilt-free. When I dropped into another place out of convenience because I was on the other side of town, the difference was clear: it cost more, didn’t look as good, and tasted meh. City Bowls set the bar high and has earned my repeat business.

Amazing food but I don't like going through the drive-thru because when you pay with your card, they shove the little terminal in your face making you feel bad if you don't tip. I don't mind tipping when it's appropriate, but to tip someone that hands you something out of a drive thru window is just kind of weird. And the way they look at you and hold the thing out the window seems manipulative.

Seems like this has become a trend, where now everywhere that didn't used to ask for tips, is suddenly asking for tips. $14 for a bowl, and a tip is crazy.

My interaction was with the owner working the food truck. I have celiac disease and the owner was very knowledgeable about providing me with a gluten free experience. I got the city bowl and it was so good that 5 minutes later, I went back and got another 😂
