S & V Down Home Cooking in Huntsville, Alabama is a fantastic hidden gem. Their fried chicken delivered through GrubHub was crispy, even though the breast was a bit tough. The collards were perfectly cooked, and the mac & cheese was tasty, though not very cheesy. The hot-water cornbread was a delightful surprise. The dining room is great, and the staff is very friendly. A 5-star experience for both locals and out-of-towners.
