Our daughter in law first turned us onto Salt + Light by bringing us the ckicken cordon bleu family meal. It was so good we started to follow on FB and now we are hooked! Food is fantastic and the owners are a pure delight! 10 out of 10! If you haven’t tried it you’re missing out! South Huntsville doesn’t have a lot of good eateries, but this food truck is our best kept secret!

Salt&Light is a place that serves great food. The Steak is cooked to perfection and the Alaskan salmon is tender and saucy. They have a varied menu with burgers, seafood, and great sandwiches. The catfish, pimento polenta, and sauteed vegetables are delicious. They also have ready-to-go meals like Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Risotto, and watermelon salad, which are outstanding and taste homemade. The Roast Beast and Nasty Burger are also tasty. The food is fresh, and the portions are great. Salt&Light is a convenient place to grab dinner, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and kind. The restaurant is a great option for people with busy lifestyles, and it is highly recommended.
