Taqueria El Cazador Reviews
Between here and the converted bus, I've been eating El Cazador's food for about 15 years. I've tried almost all items available, but the tacos are my go-to. Beef cheek, spicy pork, chicken, you name it, it's always delicious, tender, fresh, and full of flavor! I'd like to personally thank the workers there for making all my taco dreams become a taco reality.
This is one of my favorite spots to catch a quick bite or sit and chill with friends and family. The food always tastes so fresh and the pickled carrots/onions/jalapeños are my absolute favorite addition to every dish as well as all the sauces. Tamales are on point! There’s something for everyone and we can feed our family of 6 for a very reasonable price.
Amazing tamales! It’s been hard to find some since leaving San Antonio and these are up there!
The staff and team are so quick to respond and very helpful.
At pickup the men up front wouldn’t let me try and carry the big containers to my car because they were so ridiculously heavy, and insisted they helped me while I wrangled my two boys, and our lunch order. Absolutely a hsv staple.

Taqueria El Cazador offers a mixed dining experience. While the tacos are praised for their juicy and flavorful meat, some customers have encountered issues with their orders not matching the menu descriptions. The restaurant's proximity and convenience are appreciated, but the flavors may not appeal to all palates, particularly those accustomed to Tex-Mex cuisine. Overall, the service is considered great, but the food quality can be inconsistent.
