“Today's reservation was to celebrate my friend‘s birthday, and it was an awesome experience. AJ was our server and he took excellent care of us. We sat on the patio. When we got to our table, there was a sweet little birthday card and my friend had a birthday banana pudding to finish off her special lunch. Tupelo honey is one of my very favorites and my go to dish is the crispy brussels sprouts that are awesome. Of course I'll be back again and again. “

“We were seated at 5:30pm with no wait, atmosphere was relaxing and the restaurant was clean. Our server was pleasant and timely. We ordered the rosemary chicken and the chicken in dressing. Food was tasty and the prices were very reasonable. After 4 days of dinner disappointments at other restaurants. I would definitely recommend starting here. We were not disappointed.“

“Good BBQ. I had the Carolina Chopped Pork plate for lunch with baked beans and potato salad. Both sides good. Overall good quality food at moderate cost - most plates in the $13-15 range. Sweet tea is Bama sweet. Also had an order of 6 of the cheese biscuits. These are served like mini-muffins and the do have a muffin taste. They are near addictive good but rather expensive at $6.99.
Ordering is done up front and drinks and seating are self served. Food is brought to your table. Our server was very attentive and made sure had what we ordered and we were satisfied with our food. Most seating is for 4 at booths, butcher block tables, or raised tables and stools. Overall atmosphere is upscale fast-food/casual, not at all like the restaurant I had visited few years ago in Fultondale. There is adequate parking but lot may be full at peak hours. By the end of our meal at 12:15, people had started parking on the road on East side of building.“

“Was not very happy about my chicken salad sandwich. Both bread and chicken salad were very dry. Very hard to eat with out having to take a drink with every bite. Flavor was OK. Might try it again, but will look at chicken salad before ordering to see how dry it is.“

“The food is very delicious! Flavored good and very tender. Big John's BBQ is hands down the best in customer service. The staff is nice as well. when they 1st opened one item was missing. The owner brought the item to my home! He didn't have to do that but he did. Big John BBQ is the best!“

“We were in town to visit the WW2 veterans museum which is wonderful. We picked the brain of local vet and he suggested Rolo’s. We were not disappointed. The food was great! It was hot and tasty and service was top notch. Only complaint was it was busy and not enough tables. This is because they’re so popular and the place was packed. It’s a good sign when it’s packed and the food and service is still good. I’d definitely recommend.“

“Lawler’s Bar-B-Q has always been good, but since Ben became the manager, it’s been fantastic. He truly sets the tone—welcoming, friendly, and genuinely invested in making everyone feel at home. The atmosphere feels warmer, the service is consistently great, and you can tell the team enjoys being there. Shoutout to Natalie, Gregg, and Johnathon as well—they’re all wonderful and help make every visit a great experience. Highly recommend stopping by Lawler’s Bar-B-Q.“

“I visit the Winchester Road location on occasion and kindest, professional and good mannered young lady by the name of Summer is always the one who’s in the window. “The stuffed potato with pulled pork is Amazing!! It is my second favorite baked potato. Every time I visit the Huntsville area I have to have one of these stuffed potatoes. I talk about it so often that when my friends find out I am in Huntsville they ask me if I have had my potato yet.“
