“A great Bayou la Batre type restaurant with good food and service. If you want all of the frills that you'll most likely pay extra, go to a Franchised restaurant in the city and miss all of the shrimp boats and ship builders in the area. Sure they make a mistake every once and awhile, many are far worse since covid. I like it !“

The side salad was really good, if you like fried Okra🤌delicious, matter of fact-everything we had fried, the pickles were so good, the fish 😋yummy..the Hush Puppies! “got the pulled pork sandwich. meat had ZERO flavor and was as dry as boomer humor. the seasoning sauce was water scared with garlic powder. potato salad was disrespectfully disgusting. banana pudding was watery and the bananas were black. green beans were dumped from a can and had less seasoning than printer paper. Mac and cheese was essentially just pasta in a cheese water sauce and the atrocity of what they dare to call sweet tea was an insult to all southerners. get a better staff too. they carried a conversation and it was quite clear they wanted to keep talking when I was approaching. the lady at the pickup register talked over me and was obviously annoyed to be at work.“

“We are staying on Dauphin Island but heard this restaurant is very good. We took a little drive to try it out. Definitely glad we did. Worth the quick drive from the island. We had 3 kids and 4 adults. The kids had cheeseburgers and fries. The adults had fantail shrimp, shrimp po boys and chicken tenders. The shrimp was fantastic! My sister said the chicken tenders were so good. Not frozen ones. 😄 The staff was very friendly and took care of us. The decorations and environment is welcoming and fun to look at. We will definitely be back.“

“Not the biggest review person but we went here with the family today! (Me, Sister, her husband and my nephew!) & Tiffany was fantastic. We saw the special for the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and the 1 topping with a side. She explained to us that we could get any specialty pizza with the 1 topping so we got pineapple. It was so good! She brought everything to our table, even went and got a pizza cutter for us to make sure we could get the slices off because we were struggling. She was fantastic, kind, helpful, willing to do whatever was necessary to make sure we had a great family lunch. Give that girl a raise please, we will be coming back and hoping she's there each time. Thank you Tiffany, glad we caught your name. ❤️“

“The people that work there are Super Nice and polite. I saw some reviews that said the service was slow. Everything is cooked when you place your order. If you want FAST go to McDs. If you want Fresh and Good FIVE GUYS is the place to go.

I was in this exceptional restaurant again today and everything was even better than before. I dined in and forgot a package on the counter when I ordered. After I sat down, the extremely friendly and helpful Lady, that took my order, brought my package over to me. Not only are the Burgers and fries GREAT, the people that work there ARE EVEN BETTER.

Orders a day before a customer even walks through the door, people mess up and that’s okay that doesn’t mean you go online and start degrading the people that work there🤣🤣🤣. And firehouse doesn’t have apple juice there’s no reason to get unreasonably upset about a little cup of apple juice.“
