very good service and the food was great.
Great food! Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals.
I have had some good burritos from this restaurant but the flauta dinner I got with a takeout order this evening (07/06/25) was pathetic. If you can't do better than that then please just take them off of your menu. They were tiny and mostly hollow, way over fried. I was so disappointed, just pathetic.

Based on the reviews, Tacos GTO is an awesome little Mexican restaurant in St. Elmo offering authentic food. The menu includes a clever, unique twist on hamburgers, as well as items like the Chili Rojo in a rich red sauce with good chunky beef, american beef tacos, tongue gordita, Birria taco, and generously sized steak and chicken quesadillas. The rice and beans are the best, and the cheese dip is good. Portions are generous, often with enough left over for lunch the next day. The restaurant has a salsa bar with a variety of different salsas, including Verde and Guac, which are both super good, and lots of different bottled hot sauces. The atmosphere is nice with colorful decor, plenty of seating, and a couple big tvs. The staff is very friendly and polite, always checking up. Service is excellent and quick. The restaurant is clean and smells nice. Highly recommended.
