“Do not pass on this place!! We ordered from them last night and OMG!!! The wait was a little long for food, but let me tell you, it was WELL WORTH IT! Everything we got was cooked to order and PERFECTLY!! My philly cheese steak was delicious. The fries are great and the fried pickles amazing. The gentleman who was working was polite, kind, and super helpful. What a gem of a place! We live in Birmingham area and are spending the week at my husband's boss' lakehouse. This is our first time eating here, but I am glad we found this place. We have been out here before but never to Bob's. The food and service was so good, I wouldn't have an issue making a mini day trip here just for the chance to eat at Bob's again! I wanted it for lunch again today, but they are closed Sunday.”

“If you find yourself anywhere near Dadeville, do yourself a favor and stop by Camellia Cafe. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the club sandwich with a side of fries — and wow, those fries were absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and seasoned just right.

The club sandwich was solid and satisfying, exactly what you want for a great lunch. What really made the visit special, though, was meeting the owner, Jeremy. We had an amazing conversation, and his friendliness and genuine care for customers make this place feel welcoming and personal.

“Me and my family have had meals at Oskar's many times over the years. What we saw today were dirty floors, dirty tables, and one young man trying to do everything from bus tables, seat customers, and wait tables. Not sure what the other "servers" were doing. We had a table of 5. Waited over 10 mins and nobody stopped at our table to take drink or app orders. We overheard the fish was frozen and that was it. Not sure what is going on, but something has drastically changed and not for the better. We left and had a great meal at Niffers down the road.”

“definitely worth the drive. I was just on google looking for a place to try we never been to. I am disappointed that we haven’t found it sooner. I had chicken livers with stewed squash and purple hull peas, everything was perfectly seasoned. Except for I did put hot sauce on my peas. Tammy had whole fried catfish (she always get the whole fried fish when an option) with fries and a salad with some really good hush puppies. They had a big selection of desserts in the case but we were too full to attempt. We both went home with doggie bags. We will definitely be back. They are right down and across the street from Horseshoe Bend High School on highway 22.”

“We were coming thru travelling back to Mississippi. We'd had a rough five days being caregivers and this was the very thing we needed. The BEST fried chicken I've ever had in my life and I love fried chicken! The staff were so friendly with customers and each other. I got a special blessing leaving, a man wanted to just give me a hug, maybe it was that I hollered out a thanks to the cooks in the hot back kitchen or just the good Lord knew what I needed.”

“If you plan to order ahead please schedule it 15 minutes earlier than you plan to get it or it won't be ready. Ordered mine at 9am to be ready at 11:15 am and I showed up at 11:18 and waited 10 minutes for them to even start it”

“I ordered online with a notification it would be ready on 15 minutes. I arrived 5 min late and still waited 15 minutes. Basically, they started my order when I got to the drive thru to pick it up and, of course, immediately asked me to park in a spot. I’m not sure the reason for ordering online, so disappointed.
I’d have been okay with it but they weren’t busy at all and there were a lot of employees. How do I know that? I had to go in because my order wasn’t complete.
It’s a good thing the chicken was good.”
