“The food is always fresh and flavorful. The service is always the best, the staff is helpful and friendly. They always have a smile on their faces, no matter how busy it gets. The chips and salsa are fresh, flavorful, and crispy chips. The food has great taste. They use seasonings on their meats , where most Mexican restaurants don't. As long as they continue to serve flavorful food, we will continue to make the drive, and I would highly recommend it. Great people!“

“This place has the best fried Gordita. Much better Gordita than Gordos and Mi Pueblo... The tacos are delicious as well. One of the best Chorizo tacos I've had. The only thing to make this place perfect would be to have fresh tortillas, but I know fresh tortillas can be difficult to make for such a small place. I can't wait to come eat here again!“

“First time at this location. The menu is similar to the larger Calera location. Food was good and consistent across both places. The only difference we felt was that the rice was not as good here. It was a bit on the plain side. However, the overall prices seemed less for a very similar experience. Would recommend.“

“I siting my brother and he took us all to one of his favorite restaurants. I wasn’t expecting much since I live in New Mexico. I ordered the Chile Relleno meal and was so surprised and how delicious the meal was one of my brothers ordered the Huevo con Chorizo and he said it was the best he had ever had. “Great place to go, good/normal service, normal food, and beautiful inside decor/atmosphere. We live close to Clanton and been going since the late 90s early 2000s. Nothing really changes and I like it that way... Also the only place in the world left that allows smoking in the bar area. But don't worry none smokers there's an non-smoking restaurant side for you as well. I set on the non-smoking side with my dad because he has headaches, and it doesn't bother him. Overall great place to eat....“

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Clanton. Food is great and people are too. I don't like bell peppers in my food. I prefer jalapeños. Everyone puts bell but these people cook my food with jalapeños and do it with a smile. Also prices haven't skyrocketed like every where else. About the only place in town where you can feed 3 people and not have to stop for a loan on the way there. Keep up the great work.“

“Small spot with some charm and a nice outdoor seating area. I love the decor and the atmosphere. It feels like a week kept family restaurant. Server was attentive and I ordered Queso Flamadeo and a taco lunch special. Food came out and looked good but "hot plate" was no understatement and I usually get wary. Tacos were pretty plain, the appetizer was good. Over all the tortillas with the exception of the chips could have been more fresh and same for the chopped veg and rice. Still ate my whole meal though and enjoyed the visit. At 4 stars I'd say worth a visit.“
