“I always have a great experience when I dine in/order take out from this restaurant. The staff are excellent and always go above and beyond to ensure quality service. There was a slight mistake with one of my takeout orders tonight, but when I brought it back, not only did they remake my meal in a timely manner, but also gave me more chips and salsa and cheese dip (not part of my order) as a courtesy. I will keep coming back to Casa Ortiz. They have quality service and the food is always great! The steak street tacos are always my go to.“

“First time at this location. The menu is similar to the larger Calera location. Food was good and consistent across both places. The only difference we felt was that the rice was not as good here. It was a bit on the plain side. However, the overall prices seemed less for a very similar experience. Would recommend.“

“This place has the best fried Gordita. Much better Gordita than Gordos and Mi Pueblo... The tacos are delicious as well. One of the best Chorizo tacos I've had. The only thing to make this place perfect would be to have fresh tortillas, but I know fresh tortillas can be difficult to make for such a small place. I can't wait to come eat here again!“

“I siting my brother and he took us all to one of his favorite restaurants. I wasn’t expecting much since I live in New Mexico. I ordered the Chile Relleno meal and was so surprised and how delicious the meal was one of my brothers ordered the Huevo con Chorizo and he said it was the best he had ever had. I highly recommend this place if you are in Clanton, AL.“

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Clanton. Food is great and people are too. I don't like bell peppers in my food. I prefer jalapeños. Everyone puts bell but these people cook my food with jalapeños and do it with a smile. Also prices haven't skyrocketed like every where else. About the only place in town where you can feed 3 people and not have to stop for a loan on the way there. Keep up the great work.“

“El Agave is one of our restaurants in Montevallo where locals and college students go to have some great Mexican food. They have drink specials at lunch and Tuesday evening margarita specials. The food is good, and I like their salsa, but I wish they had larger salsa bowls. They are quite small. Other
