Food: Make note. The pizza is really very good. The muffuletta (sandwich) was is amazing as well. All three of us guys add something different. We were all glad we chose this rather than standard fast food pizza

Service: The Crew putting out this good food couldn't be nicer! They worked hard and we're diligent

Atmosphere: not going to lie, at first the setting could be a little off-putting if you're not familiar with this great place. It's small, in the corner of a parking lot, and the outside kind of looks like it's taking a little bit of a beating... Do not let that keep you from this good food!”

“This is inside pilot gas station. It can be hit or miss on item availability but who cares! A cinnamon roll is a cinnamon roll so I’ll take whatever they have usually. They do a lot to keep everything clean and organized where you can quickly drop in and grab what you want.”

I stopped in on July 24th at 12:30 for lunch and the two young ladies behind the counter went above and beyond with every customer I observed them assisting. “First time stopping in and ohhh me oh my!!!!! Where do I start.,...Let's see had the chicken fingers with snap beans and mashed taters and some tea. Nary a complaint from me as it was dang good especially seeing as the previous night's meal that was bland at a big name truck stop. The taters and gravy were excellent. Best part here is, got a dang good meal for half the price as what I paid at that big name joke of a truck stop. If I'm ever back through here again I'm definitely stopping in for sure”

“Our host, Willie was awesome! His behavior and attitude was quite welcoming! His handling of our order was professional and complete. His behavior towards his team was also excellent and so was theirs. Very good teamwork. “At least once a week, my mom and I go to Burger King to pick up breakfast before going to her office. There are many fast-food restaurants in town in which we can go, but Burger King usually has the shortest line and consistently gets our order correct. A couple of weeks ago, they messed up on our order. They forgot to include my mom’s ham, egg and cheese croissant in the bag. Once we got to my mom’s office and realized it, we called the restaurant to explain what was not included in the bag. They apologized and asked if we could come back to get it. We told them we would be back in about ten minutes. The employee who answered the phone was the most polite and understanding fast-food employee. Usually, when you call a fast-food restaurant, the worker who answers the phone is anything but polite. We thought we would surely get the rude comments when we went back to pick up the rest of our order. Surprisingly, when we got there, not only did they give us the croissant that was missing in our order, but they completely remade the order, including an extra ham, egg, and cheese croissant. This was the best experience we have ever had when getting a fast-food order corrected.”

“Dale is the sweetest lady I’ve ever met. We went in on 6-16-23 with 3 youngins who can be very shy when it comes to service people, she got them laughing and quite comfortable very quickly. She has great customer service and went above that and made my family feel welcome by engaging in personable conversations. She kept the dining room very clean and checked up on all the other customers, making sure they all had what they needed as well. Great person and great employee. McDonald’s, take care of her. Very hard to come by people/employees like that.”

“I had the fried cabbage, green beans, Mac n cheese. Hubby has the ribs, french fries and fried okra. Kiddo had the pulled pork plate and baked beans.

Absolutely would go back! Picked it off the map when traveling back home and glad we went. Small place but oof - good stuff.

“It's the Burger Man with Best Burgers in America Association, and I was invited to come and score a burger for Jumbo's. I am glad I did. I got the Double Classic Cheeseburger, and it had two 8-ounce patties on it. A pound of Meat. Fresh, never-frozen, hand-patted-out patties. The toppings were fresh as well. Great Owners and staff. Got to put this on your Bucket List. In Pell City, AL.”

“Been eating at The Ark for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest childhood memories were coming in with my grandparents on Friday nights. Stopped in yesterday for lunch and while the catfish was as good as always and the service was excellent, we were all disappointed to find that they have changed hushpuppies. I HATE onions and one of the things I always loved about The Ark was that their hushpuppies had no onions. When we sat down yesterday, we immediately ordered a dozen (as we always do) but when we got them they had onion in them. As much as we enjoy eating there, I can get good catfish without driving over an hour to The Ark so the hushpuppies were the main reason we came. I guess we are done unless they go back to the recipe I have eaten for nearly 50 years.”

Best onion soup you’ll find anywhere, hibachi and lo mein are amazing, and the veggies are to die for - plus, they’ve got bubble tea! I’ve been thinking of trying their noodle soups next. They always do an amazing job accommodating requests and staff is very friendly!”
