My cousin and I came into the restaurant as the only “other” race. We were approached as soon as we walked in by the manager (male); who immediately asked us if we had paid yet. I said we have to order first and a person waiting on his order at the bar tried to laugh it off by saying he loved money (jokingly)to make light of the situation . As we finally received menus to order b/c it was packed. The manager then asked if our order was takeout; we responded by saying yes....read full review
everytime we come to Talladega, the first place I want to eat is here. service is wonderful. food is awesome. I love fried catfish. fried dill pickles are the best we have ever eaten. had a sample of the chili and gumbo tonight. both were great. with weather getting cold either one still warm you up. can't wait for our next trip so I can eat at hwy 77 fish market
Last minute change of location for our Book Club Meeting. They were very accommodating, even put us in a separate room. Waitress was very attentive and our food was delicious! Very affordable and we will definitely be back! 5 *****
