Jake's Fish Camp is a laid-back river dive bar serving delicious food. The atmosphere is perfect for a casual outing, with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. The menu features a BBQ that's worth trying, with crispy fries that are the best around. The Jake's burger is a homemade half-pounder that's a must-try. The restaurant is situated only 3.6 miles from Gunter COE, right on the river, offering an interesting atmosphere. Customers have enjoyed the BBQ sandwich and the catfish sandwich. The oysters are great, but the shrimp can be overcooked. The catfish and shrimp with okra & onion rings are also available, though some have found them to be overcooked as well.

It's a bit off the main road, down a dirt road, past a couple houses, giving it a typical, local dive bar feel. There are two pool tables and a wide 180⁰ window wall overlooking the river. Friendly folks, lots of tables inside and a couple tables outside, as well as a small dock to pull your boat up to. However, it's best not to go swimming, as an 8' gator has been spotted drifting by. Beers are served out of an ice chest, making it a great place to drink beer and watch the river roll by.
