I will always vouch for this place until it does not exist anymore. I have eaten at Estrellita since I was 8 years old. The recipe has never changed and the food has gotten better. The chips and salsa before they give you food, has gotten better with time. And the prices were good, but now they're a little bit expensive. A taco used to be 2.50, and now it's 4.75. This feels like the type of Mexican restaurant I grew up going to. The day I went there was live music, lots of people chatting and laughing, and the smell of delicious food. The service is great and the food tastes even better. Definitely worth a visit

I would love to give this restaurant 5 stars solely based on their food quality. However, the service is lacking and makes the overall experience a bad one. We went for breakfast around 11 and the restaurant was empty. The waitress was very impatient and could barely let you finish your sentence before she walked away.
