“I love this place, I've been going here since they opened. It is one of my favorite places to get Chinese. Absolutely the best egg drop soup. I always order too much food it's all so good.
Vegetarian options: They have veggies options.
Kid-friendliness: I've been going here since they opened, never had problems.
Parking: Big parking lot, don't worry if you have to walk the food is good you'll make up for the steps.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp further down the side walk.“

“When we moved to Huntsville, we were anxious to find a go to Chinese restaurant and tried out a few different ones in the Midcity area. After trying Oriental Express, we knew we found our spot. It’s affordable, classic Chinese American cuisine that never fails to hit the spot. Especially the egg drop soup! My husband and I split the dinner entree, which is only $15, and have tried every type of chicken so far, the teriyaki and the oriental with lo mein is our favorite.“

“It took me 8 years to discover this place. I had just about given up on the idea of a proper Chinese take out place and I am so glad I finally found this one. It’s not much to look at but the General Tso’s is great and they actually have pieces of pork in the fried rice served with the combination dinners.“

“I ordered salmon and shrimp hibachi. It came with 2 pieces of salmon and 4 shrimp. I asked about it. She said that I should have 4 salmon and that she checked before my order went out. She claimed that the other pieces must have broken apart. They were never there. Taste was okay. It was not worth $15. I had it to go but ate it there because there wasn't much to it. Lots of brown rice filler.“

“the food was awesome and fresh, we were a group of 6 and the waitress was doing a awesome job at keeping us drinks and was checking to see if we were ok.. wish I got her name so you could thank her again for me, it wasn't much but her tip was well and deserved more but all the cash I had was $17.. I will be dining there again 👏👏👏“

“Had lunch here today and it was delicious. Lo Mein Noodles were loaded with vegetables, Sesame Chicken cooked to perfection and Fried Rice with Yum Yum Sauce. Portion was so big there's plenty for leftovers. Sweetest owners!“

“We ordered the family meal for 4 for takeout from China Cook on Winchester. The variety of dishes that came with the meal was very good. There was plenty of food for dinner and leftovers for lunch. Great value and quality for a quick family dinner.“

“A couple months ago I ordered chicken with oriental vegetables and it was one of the best meals I have had. The vegetables were fresh,the sauce was plentiful and well flavored and the rice was great. Today I ordered beef with oriental vegetables. The vegetables were not freshthe beef was so tough I could not chew it. There was what I felt was a very small amount of sauce on it and the rice was gummy. I've been a customer there for many years and have never had food come out like this I hope this is a one-time thing. Very disappointed today“

“They have a variety of food options, and everything I tried was fresh and delicious. They have a great seafood boil, fresh sushi, tasty pizza, creamy Mac n' Cheese, and flavorful steak. The desserts were on their own separate bar; they even had fruits and jelly available.“

“My husband and I ate here today after his appointment in Birmingham. I got the General Tso with white rice and he got the Sweet and Sour chicken with noodles. We looked at the reviews before coming inside and I have to say, I don’t understand the negative reviews. Everything was spot on. The lovely lady who took our order was very friendly and the service was excellent. The food…. Absolutely delicious! I honestly wish we had this place up home.
As we ate our lunch, they started to pick up business wise and not one time did I hear anyone get rude. We will definitely be back.“
