“I was struggling to find a vendor for my wedding cake and a friend recommended batter up so I gave them a shot. I sampled their cupcakes and they even catered to my off-menu requests and they were so good! (I would've picked lemon if I wasn't having a fall wedding). I sent them my cake vision and they delivered! It was not only beautiful but also delicious, a huge hit at my wedding!“
“I noticed that a new panaderia opened up in the area so I decided to pay a visit. This location is shared with the La Fondita restaurant. There's plenty of parking outside. Once you enter the building, there's a sign that directs you to towards the store. I was the only one when I entered the store. When you enter the store, the left side mainly has groceries (fresh fruit + snacks) and some items you would find in a gas station. Oh the right side, there's a large selection of conchas, pan dulce, cookies, bread rolls, and other items you would find at a panaderia (bakery). Everything seems to be baked fresh daily; I saw an employee putting items in the containers when I entered. I was a little unsure when I entered, but if you know what you want, there's a serving tray and some tongs. Just place your items on the serving tray and take that to the checkout line to grab. I also ordered a Hot Cheetos Elote which they prepared fresh. I'll probably come back to try some other items as it was fairly cheap.“
“This is a quaint little bake/sandwich shop that is a hidden gem in Meridianville. It's kind of tucked in off of the highway, so you will need to pay extra attention when locating the parking lot. They offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches along with phenomenal cookies and other pastries. They have a hard working small staff. For the sake of timeliness during the workweek lunch period, I would recommend ordering ahead if you don't have time to spare.“
