We've been here a few times in the past week and it's been great every time. It may not seem like much, at the back of a gas station, but don't let that deter you. The service is fantastic and everything is made fresh in-house. The meats are well marinated and everything tasted good. As soon as you walk in you’ll immediately smell the fresh and savory food! I wanted to try everything! The owner was very friendly and kind when explaining the menu! He is definitely a master at flavor pairings! I had never had a cactus taco! It was incredible! I’m not a vegetarian, but that taco may have converted me! I can’t wait to come back and try more!Vegetarian options: Cactus taco! Amazing! And the rice and beans are vegetarian as well! So many other options as well!

The birria was so good I felt like I got transported to Mexico 1st century. I was ready to defend Teotihuacan. I've never experienced flavor like that in Alabama. Torta tóxica is my favorite for lunch. Gets me through the day. Love this place. I wish we could replace all the Rosie's in town with El buen sabor.
