“Food was fresh and warm. Only issue, with all customers was the way they operate the split store. So if you order KFC & Taco Bell, you get your KFC pretty quickly. The TB portion comes out about 10min later. They don't have it structured where both sides are manned. Management might want to consider how to restructure that so families are not finishing thier meals while other members are just starting to eat. Other than that, the staff are wonderful and very pleasant!“

“We were looking for a place to get dinner late and this place is open until midnight. We ordered the tablita para dos and it's way more than enough for two! The dining area is clean and the owner is very nice. This is the most authentic Mexican food I have had since visiting Mexico.“

I’ve tried three meals and the meat portions along with the beans and rice are like what you would feed a 12 year old. Meat maybe 2-3 ounces , beans and rice 1/2 cup each. For the money ($16-20 total with water) they charge it’s skimpy at best.“

“Rose of Sharon soup kitchen is more then it's name implies. During a time in my life when I needed my humanity and dignity restored to me the staff and volunteers there were used by God to do just that. I felt a little like "homeless royalty". I actually was pleasantly surprised that the chicken inside my chimichanga was flavorful! Often when I get a chimichanga the chicken inside is dry and not flavored or seasoned at all. This one was good. I was grateful for the variety on their al a carte menu. The reason we deducted a star was service. Once we politely informed the waiter that he brought us the wrong drink, he was rude and impatient with us for the rest of the time. Locals in the area have recommended the restaurant at the gas station (Los Compadres) so we will try that one next. ?“

When we approached him for making our surprise birthday dinner a reality, he made sure everything was perfect! from letting us decorate a couple hours early, storing the cake for the surprise, and of course helping us celebrate my husband. All meals were reasonably priced, drinks were wonderful!The Blue Hawaiian was my favorite drink and the margaritas were sooooo BIIIIIG and affordable!!! They were staffed perfectly to cover the regular patrons and our big party group and did so with ease! I cannot say enough good things!“

The setting in a former high school is really neat, and seeing the stairs and lockers certainly jogs your memories.

“This restaurant has changed hands many times and over the last couple years, I was very disappointed in the food and the prices. Well, it's in good hands now. The prices are LOWER. The food is very good, the service is nice, and they have redecorated the inside.

It is a fine small neighborhood Mexican restaurants that you can hardly see, but it is across Whitesburg from Burger King so they are very convenient to downtown. Give them a try. I know I will be back soon!

“My husband and I shared the Beef Mexican Lasagna. It is a good thing we did because it was an enormous helping of it. The two of us could not even finish the whole thing and believe me I wanted to! We have been to Rosie's a couple of time and my husband has always loved every thing he got there. Previously, for me, I found the food just so so. However, that Lasagna was the most delicious dish I have had there. It was amazing and now I am wondering if I can recreate it at home because we don't live in Alabama, we have only been there to visit my son. I left with my stomach very full and a terrible case of heartburn that night, but it was worth it!“
