Now, as I said in an earlier review, I had started going to El Monte because of its convenience, but also for the good food and friendly atmosphere. Normally, I wouldn't do a review of El Monte because I have been here many times before, but since I am searching for the best mexican restaurant in North Alabama, I am going to share my most recent experience at El Monte. Food is always delicious! Lots of choices on their menu for entrees and drinks. The restaurant is usually busy for dinner service. To go orders are ready in about 10 minutes.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available. Casual atmosphere.

Food portions are good sized, warm and tasty. Service very good. Went on a Tuesday night. Everything was great except you could clearly see people working in the kitchen vaping while they were preparing food. One has to wonder what else is going on in the kitchen when that behavior is allowed Either way, I'll be back !
