when i lived in alabama i came here every day i could. such a lovely atmosphere, pet friendly, very kind staff (one of the baristas actually adopted one of my guinea pigs coincidentally!), and the best espresso in town. i miss this place every day.
Drove fifty-eight miles from coast to corner cafe for fig-filled, flaky crust, french kingcake; Mobile's treat to traditions. One old, one receipe:) success story in small community.

Oh I miss the retail coffeehouse. The coffee is just delicious. The little French coffeehouse was the most charming addition to the neighborhood. I hope they're doing a fabulous roasting business and will be back.
