This place is the bomb. Lowkey only ate the chimichanga but still awesome sauce
We had dinner at El Comal recently and our overall experience was pretty good. The food was really tasty (especially the nachos and the fajitas) however it lacked spice. It would be nice if they offered to make dishes mild, medium or spicy depending on the customer’s preference.

El Comal | Tacos y Cantina offers a festive and pretty decor with a clean, friendly, positive atmosphere that is family friendly and has a sports-bar feel. The food is yummy, hot, fresh, and absolutely the best, with excellent portions. Specific meals like the nachos, fajitas, and birria quesadilla are tasty, though the food lacked spice and it would be nice if they offered dishes mild, medium, or spicy depending on the customer’s preference. The temperature inside is too warm, especially in hot Mobile summers. Since converting over to waitress service, eating here has been great; service is pleasant, phenomenal, and food comes out quick. The service was so attentive that an accidental order mistake was noticed and fixed right away. The quality, service, and taste are impeccable, and the cleanliness of the restaurant is excellent. The portions are good, and the price is fair given rising gas costs. This place is highly recommended, and it is a new favorite Mexican restaurant in town.
