Was in town for New Years Eve for the Moonpie Drop. The server was awesome. Chips and cheese was our appetizer. The cheese has a hint of jalapeño like at the movies!! Margarita was delish. Joe Cain Café is a casual restaurant that offers a mix of classic American fare. The reviews indicate that the food is generally good, with highlights including the BBQ Melt, caprese pizza with chicken, and nachos, though some customers noted that the pizza could be a bit dry on the bottom. Service is described as friendly and excellent, but the pace can be fast, with some delays in drink orders and food preparation. The atmosphere features a quaint Mardi Gras theme and is described as a "very pretty bar" with a "fast food quick turnaround place" feel. Some dishes, like the half chicken entree, received mixed reviews, particularly regarding the cooking time, while the meatball sub was praised as very good. Overall, Joe Cain Café seems to provide a decent dining experience, with customers eager to return and try more items, though some improvements could be made to ensure food is served at the optimal temperature.
