The food was not The greatest, however our server was fantastic. She was seating and serving the entire restaurant as well as busing tables by herself. Her name on receipt was Christi, she was doing a fantastic job and doing the very best she could by herself, the restaurant had at least 8 employees in the kitchen but she was the only server there, again she did a fantastic job.
We used to be frequent customers of Steak 'n Shake when we lived in Ohio from 2004 to 2011. We hadn't been to one since we moved to Colorado so when we saw this one while traveling in the area, we thought we'd give it a shot for old times sake. The building requires immediate renovation, and strong management is crucial. It is unacceptable that cooks and cashiers were using their cell phones during work hours. On the day I visited, staff members, both male and female, were improperly giving away food to family and friends.
