“We were in town for Garth Brooks concert and everywhere Uptown was so busy. We walked back to Chasers and we are so glad we did! I had so much fun there, I wanted to skip the concert! Staff was amazing and friendly! Bartenders were awesome too and it got extremely busy in there! I hope everyone else visiting tipped them well! We didn’t eat because we waited too long but others around us had food and it looked amazing. I will definitely go back next time I’m in BHAM.“

It was on the small side, but a decent amount of B, and plenty of L & T to keep it fresh. My cohorts both ordered the Breakfast Burger. Expecting the egg to be runny like the photos we saw, and thinking the maple glaze would only be on the patty, they were not-so-pleasantly surprised when their eggs were very well done, and the burger bun was saturated in maple syrup. It had a McGriddle taste to it, but with a hamburger patty instead of a spicier sausage. The homemade chips didn't travel well in a to-go container (2 miles away), but the tots were perfectly cooked and salted. The fries were alright, but nothing like the tots.“

“Very intimate place with about 5-6 tables excluding the bar seating! Fully stocked bar with tvs and music! I’ve gone twice before making this review, and I have enjoyed the food! I prefer their appetizers! I think I’ve tried most of them from the corn dip, corn dogs, to their spinach dip! All were very tasty! The second visit I had the rice bowl which consisted of rice, very few vegetables and shrimp! It was good and would’ve preferred more vegetables… it was most rice! We also had the pork chop with Brussels. They were out of (mashed)potatoes so they served with rice. It was tasty. The pork chop was thick cut and we asked for Heinz 57 or something similar and they didn’t have it! The wings and pork chop could use more seasoning! Overall it’s a unique place to visit and I would return! Drinks were good as well!“

The food came out relatively quick and was very good. My only issue was during the 2 1/2 hours we sat there visiting the waitress never once offered to refill our drinks or waters. Yes, that’s a little thing, and could have just been a small oversight. The place was not crowded and that small thing played a big part in this review. I do not think it is a reflection of Billy’s, but was a small issue that left a negative view from my opinion. I challenge you to try them for yourself.“

“We were working in the area last week and decided to give Jake’s a try! It was delicious! There was no wait, the server was super nice, the food came out quick, & everything was great! We both decided to get the Jamaican Jerk Chicken, with corn bread, Mac and cheese, fried okra, and rice! It was all delicious! The chicken is a little spicy (which we like) but if you don’t do spicy, you might want to choose a different option! For dessert we got the strawberry cake! “On Tap Liberty Park has greatly improved since opening!!! I wish I had taken pictures of the gigantic perfectly cooked onion rings! My husbands rueben was made with beautiful pumpernickel bread and my white chicken chili was excellent!! The fried pickles were fried pickles...maybe they could find a different vendor for those but they were fine overall. Our server, Payton did a great job and since we live in the area we are excited about going back. They were actually pretty crowded in the bar with trivia night.“

We had them and walked on by many, many waiting for a table. If I had to describe it to someone, I would use the words “upscale sports bar”. We will likely go back.“
