“Ok, this is a LATE review but I've been reminding myself to go back ever since! Anyway, my oldest daughter chose this place to have her 21st Birthday Day Brunch. This was back in July. I had never heard of it but I love trying food from new places. It was a small family affair and we all enjoyed ourselves. I wish I could remember our waiter's name because he was just as awesome as the cocktail that he suggested I try! The food was good, (please try the chicken salad sandwich)) and the atmosphere was comfortable. I walked out full & buzzed! It was a good time! Damn, now I'm hungry!“

“My office loves catering Maki Fresh! The ingredients are always fresh and is always a hit, honestly it is hard to not want Maki Fresh EVERY time we get food. They are always timely and kind and I have never had an issue with an order from their store. I have had an issue through Uber while ordering Maki Fresh but their staff was extra accommodating, kind, and supportive throughout the whole process! Very thankful for their kindness and cannot recommend them enough!!! Thank you!“

“I love coming to Slutty Vegan. I used to go to the ones in Atlanta (Ralph David and Edgewood), but I've moved to Alabama about 10 months ago. I loved when I realised that they had a shop here in Birmingham.

Their slutty fries is amazing with the spicy agave mustard or hunny mustard. 9/10

Can't go wrong with the fussy hussy if you're looking for the normal toppings that come on a burger. 8/10

When I get a burger from here, though, I like the one night stand because I like the v. bacon. 9/10

The boujee heaux is their fried cauliflower wings. I've only ever tried the 10pc garlic parm w. fries, but it's amazing. 9/10

I've had the banana pudding before. I don't get it anymore, but it's still delicious. I like my banana pudding a little more solidified, whether it is the breading/crumbles, or actual bananas. This does mimic a legitimate pudding though. 9/10

The hollywood hooker is a good v. philly. I don't normally eat philly cheesesteaks that often, so it's almost a bit much for me due to the amount of stuff in it, but I can still appreciate the flavour profiles, the necessary toppings to make it a philly, and the ability for Slutty Vegan to make a tasty version of the classic sandwich. 9/10

I've only had the project chik one time, and that was when it first came out. At that time, it was a limited time item. I didn't like this sandwich as much, but that's because it wasn't saucy. I think they've added ranch or mayo, but it wasn't enough, so you can simply get extra ranch/mayo. 6.5/10

The sweet potato pie is delicious. 10/10

The hooker fries are delicious. Arguably the best item on the menu for me. If there's any legitimate critique I have of Slutty Vegan, it's that the buns get soggy really quickly from the burger, so it can feel like eating the toppings and patty with a mushy bun sometimes. So, I mostly get the hooker fries when I visit because there is no bun to worry about, and it gives me the same toppings as the philly cheesesteak, except I don't have to worry about being overwhelmed with everything that's inside of the hoagie and trying to keep everything pieced together. The hooker fries IS the hollywood hooker, just with fries instead of a hoagie. It's pretty much loaded fries, but it has to be some of the best loaded fries I've had. 11/10

I do miss the big dawg though. I love bratwurst, so SV's spin on this was amazing. Add this back to the menu and I'd be back probably two to three times a week continuously.“

“I absolutely love having a cafe style grill and juice bar in town. Everything is made to order and fresh!! I’ve had the shrimp and grits, avocado toast, hummus, pizza, and a variety of juices. I have 1-2 meals on the weekends and juices last me throughout the work week. Don’t forget to get some fresh herbs for any health concerns you have!!!! Very kind owners and staff.“

“We're not huge fans of Greek food, but we tried Tasty Town, mainly for convenience. We had planned a very packed day of sight-seeing in Birmingham on a Saturday. It seemed that hardly any eatery would be open and there wasn't time allowance to drive out of the downtown area, without being late for the next activity. Thus, we settled on a mid-afternoon lunch/dinner at Tasty Town. Honestly, both of us thought it was better than we had anticipated and the service and location were top notch. Thanks, Tasty Town! “I absolutely love this place! literally, this place is absolutely phenomenal. there's two separate bartenders that are there on any given morning... both these girls are absolutely fantastic. both of them are really really pretty and they've got amazing attitudes, they've always got a smile on their face and what's amazing is, you can walk in on a Monday morning like this morning, knowing it's Monday and it's overcast and those two girls were laughing and cutting up and smiling and it just put you in a really really really amazing mood to start your day. I'm of the belief that if we can be around people that can brighten our day, then we definitely should. these girls start my morning off on a positive foot. I don't feel like a customer, honestly I try to bring them either energy drinks or donuts and then eat the world's greatest biscuits and gravy, that gravy is absolutely amazing, and there's always a smile on their face, it's always an amazing time and I look forward to each time I come which is about 3 or 4 days a week. the stores always really clean, and it smells amazing. the restrooms are always in great condition, sitting at the bars amazing, there's never food left around or sitting around, they're quick to clean up the tables, these girls really run the show, and everybody else in the background does an amazing job too. really thankful for this place, and I'm really glad that I get to be a part of the BBB family! “Stopped in for lunch with my toddler and sat outside. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, which was a nice start. Food-wise…it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but definitely not the worst either. I’d eat here again.

The kid’s corn dogs were a hit and my daughter devoured them. Fries were very salty (which I actually love), but a bit much for my toddler, so I kept those to myself. The egg rolls were just okay, like a 3/5. They needed a better dipping sauce…. not sure what exactly, but the ones that came with it were kinda blah.

Wings had good flavor, but they had that weird fridge taste… might’ve just been me. I took them home, tossed them in some hot BBQ sauce, hit them with the air fryer, and they turned out pretty tasty.

Sitting outside was fine, but a few patio fans would’ve helped with the heat. There were a lot of flies, but hey….. that’s just outdoor dining sometimes.

Oh and when it’s time to pay, you have to pay on their handheld device and it’s just annoying to me. It’s 2025, just give me a receipt with a QR Code to scan (with exception of paying cash).

“We have always enjoyed Baha Burger. Due to medical issues, it’s been some time since we last ate there. The owner was always so courteous to us and eager for us try new things. He introduced me to the delicious remoulade that is a must for all things I order. However, our most recent experience made us feel differently. I know people have off days. We are all entitled to them….BUT…while we were eating, we overheard the owner yelling at the cook (he was standing directly behind us) about how many tater tots he put on my sons plate. He said it was too much for a child portion and went on and on about it. There were nine tater tots on his plate and he ate them all. My son overheard him yelling at the cook and asked me if he should give some of them back. That hurt my heart that my five year old felt guilty eating a meal that was set in front of him. I’m sure we will still give them our business because the food is amazing. I just hope the owner understands that sometimes things should be handled differently. Nine tater tots was not a true reason to have gotten so upset. Now if it had been ten….😜“

“My first time at Bellini's and it has a lovely atmosphere. We had one in our party with a red meat allergy. Someone other than our waitress brought the food out and when she came back to the table she was very concerned and conscientious, making sure the correct plate was delivered to the correct diner. We also had a 19 month old with us and our waitress was so sweet to accommodate the baby as well. There was just enough crowd noise that we didn't feel like our toddler was disturbing anyone. The food was delicious all around. We will definitely be back.“

“My bestie and I visited here on our way to an event. I've been hooked ever since. I love the different healthy options available and that you can fully customize your experience. It would help to browse the menu before going so you don't hold up the line during busier times. I think in this day I opted for a veggie bowl. But I've also had the chicken grain and green bowl as well as the falafel and all were great. The pita chips are a must try! They are so addictive! I also love the free parking deck and the digital drive-through on those days when I just want to grab and go.“

I went with my sister and my brother-in-law for dinner, we felt like we were eating in the French quarter. It’s the best Cajun food I’ve had north of New Orleans. You must try the shrimp, poor boy, better yet get the surf and turf because the roast beef will blow your mind. My sister and I also had the gumbo, the hush puppies are Devine, succotash was really good, and oh my wonderful tastebuds, the muffaletta was something like you would have on Bourbon Street. If you like Cajun food, this place has great food and a fun environment with lots of outdoor seating. Dog friendly to boot! I highly recommend that you try this at least once if you live in Birmingham or are visiting.“
