“I did indeed go back and tried the ribs this time. Killer good!! They are somewhat reminiscent of the ribs at the world famous Rendezvous in Memphis with a dry rub style, but better! They don't even need sauce, although their sauce is very good too. Solid potato salad also. No, I'm not related to Mr Mitchell and he's not asking me to give good reviews - I'm just happy to tell the world when I find outstanding food. My only regret is that I don't live here and can't eat it more often.“

“It was really good. I would definitely eat here again. I would also HIGHLY recommend getting the macaroni and cheese. The fried pickles were yummy too, but take note...theres a kick to them. I think its the actual pickle thats causing it. I am a total wuss when it comes to spicy heat. Ranch dressing helped a lot. Im also a ranch dressing snob...this was exceptional!“

But, for 'corporate' bbq, I would highly recommend Rick's to anyone that likes good bbq, but you haven't, nor do you want to take the time, to locate a local bbq joint.“

“Everything is certainly homemade from the pot of beans to vegetables and a variety of meat, desserts and breads. It us buffet style! Loved the catfish, red potatoes and coconut cake!!! My friend loved the pork, potatoes & gravy and wholemade ice cream!!“

“One of my favorite restaurants. The Alabama fries is an absolute must and the steak and mashed potatoes are the best in the shoals. Eating outside is their favorite watching the water slide below and seeing the firepits!“

“I was traveling with six others when we stopped here for breakfast. We had great food and a wonderful server named Ben. He was super energetic, had a great personality and very helpful guiding us through our meal selection. Everyone enjoyed their meal and our surroundings.“
