“My husband and I were excited to try the local Sunday brunch at River Grill because we LOVE finding a good breakfast place! This DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Jason got the country fried steak. It was good, he said. He is a man of few words. 😉 I got the spinach and feta quiche platter. It was amazing! 😍😍😍 The quiche was the fluffiest and most flavorful quiche I have had in decades!! It was all absolutely wonderful and all happily presented by our super-fabulous waitress Cindy who always takes care of you with 5-star customer service (which is HUGE to me and my husband). THANK YOU for the Sunday Brunch, the Karaoke nights, the great food and the place for people to get together in a family-friendly atmosphere here in Ohatchee!!❤️❤️❤️”

Parking: Nice spot for parking a lot of room and easy to get into from road and easy to get back into the main. Road .

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have it fixed for anybody with any walking or mobility chairs or anything they could possibly have to assist them with getting around its possible for them to park close and shop inside or at dive through by calling your order in and they will bring it out to you or deliver.”

“We started going to Licken Good Donut over two years ago. We've been to four different ones. The one in Alexandria was the first one we tried. It is rather disappointing that the price of the donuts have gone up, but the size has diminished to about 75%. It appears that this has happened only in Alexandria whereas Centre and Fort Payne continue to offer the same size.”

“I visited Mcdonalds in Southside Al with my family for dinner. We had a rather large order so was pulled up. We never mind this as we know it can be an inconvenience to the staff. The young man who brought our food out was very sweet, greeted us, and brought back things we needed. I didn't catch his name but he deserves a raise (Tall, red hair, big grin from ear to ear)”

“Stopped in about 2:45 on a Tuesday afternoon. I had just got off work and had not eaten anything since my coffee and biscuit from that morning. I walked in to get my order to go. (Long story, I'm weird) In less than 90 seconds, I was handed my 2 crispy, piping hot chicken sandwiches and my large cup for my Coke. So from the time I shut off my truck, till I started it back up to leave, 4 minutes and 20 seconds had elapsed. THAT'S what I call service.

::FAIR WARNING:: I eat at Jack's regularly, they are NOT all created equally. I tell it like it is. Good or bad.
Southside Jack's has it figured out. The restaurant is clean. Countertops are shiny. Napkin holders are full. Windows are clean. Uniforms are matching and worn properly. Employees' hands are clean. The place is well lit and smells good. Grass is mowed. Parking spaces are clearly painted. Bushes are trimmed. No trash in the parking lot. Very nice and polite staff. Managers seem to lead by example. They are out there getting it done, not standing to the side yelling at everyone.

The food is exceptional at Southside Jack's. One of the best Jack's in every category, in my opinion. Some Jack's fall short of my exceptionally high standards. And when they do, I GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN!! And when they knock it out of the park, I TELL EVERYBODY ON GOOGLE!!!
So when you find yourself in Southside, and you are craving some damn fine food. Go see them at Southside Jack's.

UPDATE ::VETERANS DAY:: Stopped by again today. Place was desolate at 3:15 in the afternoon. I was in and out in under 3 minutes 42 seconds. My order was hot, accurate and DE-LIC-IOUS!!! 10 out of ten!”

“This place is great!...depending on who is working that day. New hires are bound to get in a hurry and mess up sometimes so I've started checking my sandwich when I pick it up. I'm really glad they started reading the special instructions so I can still get a good sandwich without standing there watching them the whole time.

Also, you might have to use a subway gift card to pay using the app due to endless errors.”

“I ordered a pretzel online from the Subway in Glencoe, for whatever reason they couldn't make one. So they called another location (owned by same person) and had them bring my pretzel to the Glencoe location. It says alot about a business when they will go out of their way for a $3 order. They have my business forever!!”

“They have had a problem with enough employees. Up until the last few months, all was great. It was hit or missed getting a correct order. The last 2 times, everything was correct. I just make sure I check my order before i leave the parking lot.”

“The food Was good, but poor management. Over 30 minutes to get two Big Jack, one big bacon add mashed potatoes and gravy. And some waited longer than that. Wanted some chicken but they said it been up more than 40 minutes. Been going for years. Too many school kids working on a Saturday evening. The whole staff what's high school kids and one manager. Not saying because she was older lady, she couldn't hardly get around. Nice ,b
