“After trying just about every sit Mexican restaurant in the Auburn/Opelika area, this is our go to place. We haven’t ventured away since they opened. This is the first one in the area that doesn’t have a near identical menu or taste as the rest of the ubiquitous TexMex places. It truly stands alone on the food and service. They even make their own tortillas in the front of the restaurant now in plain view. Pretty cool. We eat there at least 3 times per month and have NEVER had a bad experience.“

“Food was just what I expected from Amsterdam - excellent. Most of the original menu items seemed to be available. They were understaffed when we arrived. All the empty tables were dirty and there was no ice in the drink machine. When I pointed it out, though, they rapidly changed gears and both were corrected. There was no alcohol on the overhead menu or anywhere else we could see, but the young man at the next table sat down with an unopened beer can.Good concept but the local staffing shortages kept it from being great.Kid-friendliness: Lots of children there, and has a children's menu.“
“We brought 6 of our closest friends here and had an absolute phenomenal time! We were introduced to a new cocktail menu they just started yesterday and it has SO MANY amazing options. 3/4 of the girls were immediately drawn to the “Liberosis” coconut rum cocktail. Soon after we learned that the sweet girl who was bartending- Hannah- came up with it! Hannah has short brown hair and is 100% enough of a reason for us to come back and give this beautiful place our business. Thank you Hannah for an amazing experience.“

“Great selection of beer on tap and in bottles/cans. Wine by the bottle or glass, hard ciders, kumbacha, and sometimes mead are often available. Aside from the occasional popup, food is not served, but customers are welcome to bring in food from other places or even order delivery.“
